why veg in CFL's?? when i have a 250W metal halide? you get way better growth when you veg in metal halide. the transition room is for freshly rooted clones, because i dont want them under intense light when they are still developing roots. thanks for stoppin' by man!

I got ya I just thought you could get rid of transition and put the CFLs with the MH. But i wasnt thinking about clones I dont know to much about them so Im guessing and MH would be to much for a clone at first

honestly i have no idea if the 250W would be too much, it is kinda small. but i just like trying different set ups and what not. and the transition room seems to work great with my clones.

Nice work, Jox. I like what you've done with the place!

I'm working in smaller spaces, but similar concepts. A cabinet for newly rooted cuttings/seedlings, a veg cabinet, and a flowering closet.

Is MDF the same stuff as chipboard? My closets are made out of white-faced chipboard and that stuff is a serious pain in the ass to work on. I tend to make a bit of a mess out of it using a skilsaw and a dremel. Of course, I don't have a shop or even a real workbench, just a couple of plastic sawhorses. >shrug< Any tips for cutting this stuff more neatly?

hey man thats awesome to hear! i hope everything is working out good for ya.
chipboard is like particle board, it isn't as dense as MDF, not as strong, and it doesn't hold sound as good. and i have no idea of a clean way to cut that stuff. but make sure that you are not breathing the dust when cutting. specially if you end up getting MDF, it is somewhat poisonous, the dust anyways.

i'll have new pictures up later for those that care. they've grown a lot in the last few days.

That 1 plant is gonna be a beast!

hey thanks man! i have never used grow bags before, that would be pretty hard to LST with. the container in the picture is a #5 smart pot, which is basically the same as a grow bag, but it's fabric instead, and i just didn't want to cut into it so i got that white rack from the store to use.

P.S.
new pictures soon.

thanks bud!

so i had to cut my photo shoot short, to go take care of some family stuff. but here are some new pictures for you guys. the 3 smaller plants are in fox farm soil, and are starting to look pretty un healthy. i seem to always have problems with soil. and again the MVTF is getting bigger each day, she is in coco, which is way easier in my opinion. and the results are amazing.

super skunk

cough

no name

and last but not least, MVTF

the MVTF seems to be doing the best, but the other plants have way more trich production at this point.

hope you guys/gals enjoy!
