Hey Man I have this figured out and I'm not going. But here ya go:

Bring back a bag of Tulip bulbs. They have skins on them. Just slide the beans inside the bulbs.

They are known for tulips too.

waiting on seeds...

Got tomato sprouts today though!

This system will be used for them and peppers outside the veg chamber and i'll build a smaller system for my private garden...

Will flower in a system kinda like the pictured one but with a 55 gallon res instead of a 15 gallon barrel

Good luck man!

Oh man I wish I could be around more for this bro... I just found the rubber seals for it to work without silicone in the National Garden Warehouse brocheur or however you spell it.

They have officially kicked the leaks associated with this setup's ass, and man- you know how the leaks suck. At least with this design they arent so bad, but with the rubber grommets, it won't leak anymore. You are going to love how professional it looks with them on there and not silicone!

I'll make a thread as soon as possible, but your's looks great, you must be hella proud of it! It looks pimpin!!!

Way to go man!!!

Now comes the task of keeping the water cool, because that is the one thing that will cause serious problems. You might want to use SM90 to reduce the surface tension of the water moving in the system so it runs cooler, that or use Hydroguard and you'll be fine with warmer water. They might not thrive as much as they could, but it will still be better than using a medium.

Root growth in zero G (underwater) is, well... Impossible to beat unless you are using fog in orbit LOL
