You think i should flower now? I agree they will crowd each other. I have two large lst'd plants in soil flowering and their stretch was very minimal. That's why i'm having trouble deciding when to change over.

Update

Here are the new pics. The first is my attempt to get them all in the picture at once.

below:a group photo of all of them up close

the next three are single plant shots. Their side branches are bushing out quite nicely now.

and finally, the roots. They are about a foot long on most of the plants.

I just changed the res. and filled it using bloom nutes this time. I want short bushy plants because this system cannot handle large plants. This system jkust seemed way cooler then the ebb and flows i was looking at. Plus, my four bulb t5 covers the width of the aroflo perfectly. Its a perfect match with light and system so its great. hope you all enjoy the pics.

Here are a few pictures of the hydro plants' parents. They have been lst'd and in budding for just under three weeks with two two bulb t12 2700k and a four foot t5 with mixed flower and veg bulbs. The budsites are just starting to show themselves at this point. I love this part on with budding. The most exciting part for me.

the next three are individual plant shots:

Well thats it for now. The hydro has been in flower for two days now and plants are just showing the white hairs. Looks like i'll have two seperate harvests, first soil then the hydro. I can't wait!

well i started my first "grow" about four years ago. It was just a seedling with a four foot single t8 tube and it was sad. I didn't even know how to produce buds. The thing got about two feet tall and couldn't hold itself up. lol. But i have harvested about ten batches since the beginning i think. Thanks for the positive vibes duppy and scientist. I can't wait until i am smoking my own home grown hydro.

update (no pics this time)

hey all. The plants are growing at about an inch of height a day and bushing out beautifully. There is but one problem. The bottom-most leaves of the plants are speckled with brown circles. My ph is at 5.8 and i drift it to 5.6 and 6.0 so the plant can easily get the trace nutrients. What deficiency does it sound like? Sorry no pictures but the phone couldnt get a clear picture.

growing (ur white widow i believe) can be a very challenging affair cant it...
i have plants in a dwc hydro unit and have some leaves like that but 95% of them are fine
so i would only worry if it gets out of hand and the whole plant starts turning
u need a decent camera already lol
get one with a super macro function even if its a point and shoot
u wont regret it in the long run

The plants seem to be happy. Its hard to tell if the problem is fixed or not because the damage doesn't go away. I'm just gonna keep the ph perfect. I want a good camera very badly. I'm saving up for a car so its on hold. I would rather get my car sooner then buy a camera at the moment. The one i am using now works just fine for plant pics as long as they aren't closeups. I should have some more pics tomorrow. The plants have been in flowering one week and are starting to show their white hairs.

update

hello all. The plants are about eighteen inches tall now. I changed out the res. yesterday and everything seems to be going great. I apoligize for the pics. The leaves look very yellow but that is just because they are under the light. Well enjoy the pics and any help/ advice is greatly appreciated.

yeah growing is very habit forming and addicting for me. Its been a blessing not having to buy and smoke crappy weed. I just wish it wasn't such a risky businiess. Perhaps one day.
