basicly what i want to know is if you use a dome at all? i know gonejah does not, you guys are having good success rates, are you just misting them when you can, what do you do for humidity, and do RR plugs really make the difference comared to RW?
lastly, how long do you take your cuts, the biggest thc bomb in my tub has a pretty decent branch for cloning, the stem is a wee short but ts fat as hell and the leaves on it are massive to be on the shorter sie, i would say it is 3-4 inches long, i was thinking it may be ready? ill show you a pic in a minute, but with the cloning thing i got i think i may just cram a BIG chunk of RW in it so it holds tight, that seems to be my biggest problem with rw is keeing it tight around the stem, sorry for the long winded post homie bored and want to work in the garden, looking for stuff to do in there lol, im sure it needs another wee to be optimal i just want your take

i like the RR plugs better mostly because it does fit snug on the stem no matter what the diameter for the most part.. also doesn't dry out nearly as fast, PH is much more stable and it's organic.

from what ive learned lately is the bigger the cut the less you're gonna have to veg. Sometimes that isn't possible so you can take them as small as you like as long as there's 1 node buried in the cube and a set of leaves on top.

as far as the dome, it really depends.. i use it the 1st day and don't open it or disturb them at all for 24 hours. I take the dome off and as long as they stay standing straight i leave it off and mist whenever i remember to do it lol.
if they droop i put the dome back and take it off after they stand up again.
i did read that RR aren't great for hydro because that bark erodes after a while and mucks up your pumps and whatnot, but that's not from experience so can't say for sure.

hope that helped a bit.

I think the "to dome or not" depends on if you can keep the humidity high enough with out it...

if your clones are in a small cab you would not need it as much as you would if your clones are in a closet or room

I had better luck using a dome than without but its dry here

lol at all the video talk . . . Yeah I loved that , "All my shit . . . some glassss . . . little stash . . . . . . . " lmao my man.

As far as the ph shit I feel ur pain, I went thru that same shit a while ago, had like three different readings lol after they all were calibrated lmao. shit is sooo frustrating.

ppl say to get a new ph meter or replacement probe every year, I dont know about that but Ive seen lotsa problems w ph meters. I say get a truncheon, Im actually gonna get a truncheon ppm meter eventually too. They're the shit man.

How much calmag per gallon are u putting in ur bubbleless stroage tank?? I might do that too. In my xtra bubbly storage tank.

And as far as domes, I agree with what everyones saying. I think its pretty environment dependant. Ive setup my clones in all different types of spaces and sometimes they need domes and sometimes they dont. AW was right on in saying that the bottom heat is the most important IMO. Along with initial humidity when they first get cut but in most cases that can be achieved by spraying them IMO.

lol

I didnt even know it was a storage tank -does it say that in the vid?? I had the sound off mostly cuz the little people were around when I watched it (they just "appear" at the office door ALL the time!)

I thought you were setting up to do a round of hydro AW

try it! you don't need a storage tank THAT much do you?

fuck you and your stupid bubbles

i use about 5ml/gal of cal mag to the RO water which brings it to about 300 PPM +/-

i took better bubble pics for you btw.. i'll post them later.

as far as those PH meters, one is reading 6.6 and the other 6.8 now, so i can live with that.

yeah i need the res pretty badly cause it takes about 30 minutes for me to make a gallon of RO water, and i use about 6-10 gallons at a time so it needs to be ready and PH stable when i use it.

i'll try hydro one of these days, just don't have any room atm.

i say man a ton too.. i try to alternate between dude and man as much as possible

5 ml/ gal is the package recommendation and it doesn't mess with the PPM that much so that's what ive been rolling with.

and dude i don't even grow weed.. i just google all my shit.. it makes me so e-cool it's scary.
