Shit looks awesome man . Great room, u really fit a lot into that space dog, very efficient. I love seeing ur guys' setups. Cant wait till I have all my shit together in one room and I can tape it all together.

dude that thing bubbles like crazy and stirs the water pretty fast, it's rated for like 200 gals i think. and yeah it's THAT loud lol i need to insulate the ducting still.. one of these days i'll get to it i'm sure

it airates ok, but it's more there to stir that water around which it does really well.

thanx my man.. yeah the 1k does great in there.. i can keep it up kinda high so the light is spread out, but also has great penetration as well.
I'm thinking of putting a fresh bulb in tonight.. that one has been in there for quite a while now.

i hate changing my bulb, i have to undo all of my fan work, ducting and rubber reducer and shit before i can move the glass bottom, it makes a 2 minute job take 15

as far as cloning what ive noticed is that you get yellowing if the medium is too wet. They should root before turning yellow on you. Also i find that too much light is no good.. i keep mine on a shelf way below my flouros and they seem to dig it.

I know thats the problem and I think someone else just mentioned that to me not long ago. Last summer the first clones I made were simple cuttings put into a bucket with saran wrap over the top (and just a little water in the bottom) and they did fine. The Skunk tended not to do so well but it was during the winter. That is when I bought this humidity dome and heat mat etc. and that heat mat doesn't have a thermostat. Those babies depend on me opening them up each morning for awhile and a few of them would die. I started using a timer and was able to correct some of that but not completely. I know it is getting too hot in there which also causes it to be too wet.

I heated it up in the dome just enough to see water starting to collect on the inside then unplugged the heat mat. There is a new cutting inside and I bet she will love this new environment. I know that sometimes in just a couple of days they don't need anything to help keep the humidity up. Maybe a little more attention to what I am doing will correct this problem once and for all.

Thanks for jogging my brain and making me actually think about what I am doing. Doing the same thing over and over expecting different results is the definition of insanity and that description fits exactly how these clones have been treated.
