White Widow Feminised Grow from seed.

Hi Guys n Gals, been a while hope you all had a good new year and crimbo.
Kicking off then new year i've started a white widow grow, i'm finnishing off a bonsai Orange bud plant and clone (Couple of weeks tops)

Anyway its a fem'd seed which was bought with a Fem'd Brain storm but im growing singles for the time being.

My grow setup is a Single 200watt Enviro, grow area is a Wardrobe stealth, i have 2 transplant pots the first for veg until it becomes root bound then moving to a 5ltr Superpot.
Nutes for Veg will be Miracle grow and flowering is a mixture of Black Treacle, Liquid Tomato feed and lemonade (Dont ask but it works... well )
Temps are regulated and sit flat between 78 -> 85 Degrees F depending on the weather.
Exterior ventilation and internal fan to cool help breathing.
Humidity is between 40% (Min) and 60% (Max)
I use organic soil for potting plants, which has proven to work with all my grows so far.

Here we go...

I started yesterday by germing the seed in cotton wool, PH neutral water sealed in a plastic dish.
I placed the dish ontop of the Enviro Relector hood which i nice and warm (Again you go with what works) checked this morning and we have a sprout .
The sprout however isnt quite ready for potting but it should be ok this evening.

I've setup my plastic cup with holes for drainage filled with soil and soaked the soil ready for later in PH Neutral Water.

Should be a good one this... Cant wait.

A few bud shots off my bonsai

This is a LST Orange bud Mini.
Its about 3 months old and in week 8 of flowering (Stinks) the trycs are cloudy/Clear. a few more days for some amber trycs and i'm gonna pull it.

Not really 56k Friendly though i must warn

Not much to report on, not sprouted and don't expect a sprout just yet, i do have a question for anyone with an answer

Q. The Orange bud is nearly ready maybe a week at tops... If i alter the light timer from 12/12 to say 16/8 i'm presuming the plant is to late into flowering to revert back to veg, aside from a little stress to the plant would that help finishing? 4hrs of additional light for 7 days, tops?

Any Thoughts.

It's really never too late for the plant to revert to vegitation state. In fact a lot of growers like to reveg their plants after harvest so they can get a second or even a third harvest off the plants. If left under 16/8 for a long period of time, the plant will eventually consume the flowers as an energy source for the new leaf growth it's putting out.

The real question is, will 7 days of 16/8 have a negative impact on your existing crop. I don't honestly know, although I'd be somewhat inclined not to want to find out.

hmmmm, any other thoughts on finnishing... such as "Best to..." or "Avoid this..." its only my second harvest, the last one pumped out 2oz of finnished dried weed but this time its a minature and i wanted strength ifyou know what i mean and this one is way more covered in trycs than the last one.
I dont even mind leaving it in another couple of weeks if its what it takes, the trycs are still only cloudy/clear, and i want Couch lock!

Well, a good first week.
Had a light stretching frenzy after it sprouted and when i woke up the stem was... well you can see. its been ok for the last couple so, what a first push .

Anyway its been transplanted into the 5ltr big pot, i also scrapped my homemade nutes for some Bio-Grow and Bio Bloom Organic ferts (Anyone know if these are any good?) i plan of doing the whole growth with these two and am hoping my crop will be bigger and better than the last growths.

Now 1 week, 1 day on her second node, i took a crazy shot in the dark without flash on low iso - can you see what it looks like lol

That widow is looking nice after the first inital strech im about a day behind you mine just sprouted and have been gorwing for 5 days. is yours under a 200watt cfls soft light? i have mine under a 400watt Mh and there loving it! i like your grow so im gonna keep watching.

Yeah, its a 200watt Red Spec Envirolite, doing pretty well, i will watch yours aswell would like to see the difference (and there should be) betweeen MH and CFL. i have a 600watt HPS fully ready but the area i have to work with for now isnt big enought to cope with the heat so i'm leaving it until i move house this year, got my White Widdow to keep me going and after a Feminised Brainstorm for after if i've not moved.
Here's a shot from this morning , she's just started on the 3rd Node set, i'm gonna grow it untill its 12inch then flower (Again due to lack of room) might give topping a go, i usually LST but i want to see this thing in all her glory.

unfortantly i dont have a grow journal i dont have the time i started my widow seeds for fun since i was only gonna be home for a short time i leave again for work for a whole month! but compareing our too sprouts were at about the same time on the 3rd node but yours seems to have alot more strech to it mines about 2 inches tall 2 inches wide and fromt he first set of leaves to the third it has only grew vertically a quarter of an inch or so, if you dont mind i could post a picture of mine for you to compare yourself one of these coming days!

No problem, dont go out your way bud, was only curious just been away myself on business but not for that length of time, a couple of days maybe a week at best but not a month.
Anyway just come back now and she's well on with the 3 fan leaves well on the way with the 4th node shooting out, would take a picture but burned so many images on the nikon the batteries run out so i will charge it and sort some pics tom .

Camera Up n Running - Todays Update.

Looking Nice so far - Not started on the nutes yet, will start saturday = 2weeks from seed, this is as advised by the bottle of Bio Grow - Anyone have any input on this? Its been transplanted into a 5ltr pot and usually i fert with Miracle grow but this stuff's organic and not as strong i dont think... Should i use as advised by the bottle or should i wait for a month as i used to (Nutes in the soil) - this is a new one to me.

Anyway, only adding one picture per update from now on, take ages to crrop and sort them out and i dont have that much time

yo valleyhempz thats cool i dont know why my plants have so many problems under that 400 w metal halide. please post your temps, humidity level and plant cooling devices and stuff so i can compare. peace

nice new growth, do you plan on topping it? i think once mine gets up to the 4th node im gonna do a top, you may have mentioned this but where did you order your seeds from? and is your little widow looking bushy already? also would you mind if i get a good picture of mine to post on your thread so you could compare? i dont wanna be a dick an just post it cuz after all it is your grow.

No worries, its always nice to compare grows, i would also like to know, mines the 85f mark over 35-65%RH depends on the weather.
