Hey man, nice journal
 One question though, how did u get the power supply powering up without a motherboard? and how many w is it? |

Nice work THe sCientist, and very nice plant. But did you ever think about using high power led, like those made by philips (www.luxeon.com) instead of these small low power led?? You should try it on a future grow, these LED can attain up to 100 lumen ,have a radiation/viewing angle of about 120deg (it would make less "hot spot" on the plants) and they use up to 3W each. Anyway, take a look at luxeon.com, they sold these led for about 3$ each, so it would not cost too much to make a light for one or two plants.
