fear's 5th grow : NLX

Allright peeps! The numbers are in.
I've smoked all of my yield, which measured out to be 70g total bone dry.
Out of those 70g, only 45g were smokable and 25g of seeds.
So I counted 100 seeds exactly and measured it to be 1.3g on a 0.1 accuracy scale.
So 25g are 1923 seeds plus the 14 I've already planted = 1937 seeds +/- 7.7%
So I harvest about 1900 seeds from 5 plants!!

But the price I've payed is high.
45 grams of smokable ganja is my lowest yield ever, about a month worth of puffing in my case.
Doesn't really work for me since this grow took 4 months.
And it took forever to get all those seeds out of the buds, part of the reason it took my so long to post these results.

Since I waited until allmost all pistil hairs were amber before harvest, this Indica smoke is very very mature.
I did this to maximize the number of mature seeds.
This turned out to be one hell of a couchlocker.
Some may think : 'But you've only done 12/12 for 7 weeks, that's not excessive now is it?'
But do not forget, I've presexed these plants when they were young to weed out the males, so we can add 1 or 2 weeks to that 12/12 count.
9 weeks of flowering is a long long time for my taste when it comes down to NLX.
After I smoked one good joint of this stuff and it's very hard to get of my ass for the next 2 to 3 hours.

Not really a suprise to me, I already knew I prefer early harvested Indica's over late harvested Indica's and over any Sativa.
So now you know when I'll harvest my next grow, right after most trichomes have turned white with maybe 10% amber.
This should be after 5 weeks of 12/12 when I presex.
That shit really makes me feel one with the universe, nothing can beat that for me.

So am I happy? Well..kinda...I got what I wanted in bulk : seeds.
But I was kinda hoping on more smokeables.
O well..live and learn I guess.

And I have another thing now to think about.
My grows take 4 or 5 months each.
Let's say I only keep the best looking seeds and throw away 50%.
So I'll throw away 950 seeds (sounds scary no?)
Let's say that again : I'm gonna throw away allmost 1000 MJ seeds. (still sounds scary)
My current grow took 14 seeds to get started.
950/14=67 grows * 4.5 months = 300 months = 25 years of nonstop growing.

So how the fuck am I supposed to store so many MJ seeds for 25 years?
Shit...am I actually still breathing in 25 years?

Kinda makes me wonder how much money I'd could get for selling 1000 MJ seeds, which is actually legal in the Netherworld....uhhm...lands.
I remember paying 55 euros for 20 random Indica seeds once.
Maybe I'll throw away 1000 seeds, sell 500 and keep 400.
I dunno yet. We'll see.

And maybe I should just plant 1000 seeds around my neighbourhood.
That would be kinda funky.
Mass guerilla farming without the intention of ever harvesting them myself.

i gotta say plant them everywhere that would be the funnest thing of life. just po drives by theres like 700 dope plants. or find a field and plant them there and come back in a few months see what happened!!
