Yeah, heard it is supposed to speed up the flowering process. So I tried it out.

Interesting....has ne1 else gave there plants a DP before switching to 12/12 ive only heard of this before harvest'how they looking now?

Ok, so its four days into 12/12. Havent really seen a huge change, growth may be slowing a bit and the new growth site look like a lime green color now (much more noticable. Started using the Pure Blend Pro Bloom the other night when I started the 36 hr dark period. Switched to all red spectrum 27w CFl's and added a couple more bulbs for flowering. Heres some pictures, I do think they have grown quite a bit since the last post though.

looking very good....pbp and fox farm soils is an excellent combo....so easy and effective. keep doing what you are doing....

tight man, nice carbon filter. are you using those lights for flower all the way through? or are you swithing to a HPS? those look realllllyyyy healthy and thick for sure. an H.I.D would probably increase your yield by double to triple. depending on watts and ventalation. but for how nice those green look a H.I.D would definately pay off in the end harvest. including better quality also.

Well I have the one 70 watt HPS, and then a lot of 100w CFL's, just switched to red spectrum when I switched the lights so I think it will be alright. Each plant has about 250w. They have seemed to like it so far. I am moving soon and wanted to wait and get all my HPS and what not right before I leave to take with me.. Just trying to save cash right now. But you will see great things from me in the future. lol. Second grow will blow this one outta the water, haha. Got my eye on some really good strains so I will keep ya posted.

The 36h of dark is just another trick employed by growers to make the plant think its lifecycle is nearing an end. The general idea is that your plants will divert more energy into producing resin glands to protect the *would be* seeds. Gals are looking fantastic Hanky, can't wait to see that big bush of bud. |

Well good news, I made some hash outta the plant and I am stoned to all hell. lol. Got a couple grams but took foooorever to make.
