Mordecai: Ebb & Flow grow 1
Alright, well this will be my 3rd (fake) grow.
 I bought a Hydrofarm MegaGarden Ebb & Flow kit the other day, and I have a General Hydroponics Water Farm for my mother plant. I'm germinating 6 Speed Queen seeds and 1 seed I have from my first grow. The Water Farm has a Durban Poison x Skunk #1 plant currently in it, but I've got no idea what the sex is yet, but its got a preflower, just too small to tell. So if its a female, it will be my mother. I hope to get a nice system going, where I can harvest regularly, but that wont be thought of until everything gets situated. Anywho, thats really all I've got to say for now. Here are some pics: The (potential) Mother plant in the GH Water Farm  The MegaGarden in my dirty closet (not its current place of living)  Le Nutrients  Ummm hydroton I guess  This is the bud from my first grow (one seed from this)  I hope to be updating this pretty regularly.

The only thing I'm nervous about is the MegaGarden. When the pump turns on, it only fills the tray about 2 inches. I had the timer set so the pump is on for 15 minutes 4 times a day. Not sure if it needs to be on longer to fill up more, or its just a shyt (yes shyt) system, orrrrrrr does it even need to fill up more? I have a couple test plants in right now and the pots they are in are filled to the brim with hydroton and by the time the pump turned off and the water all drained back into the resivoir I cant even tell the water was on (hydroton doesnt look wet at all)
This isnt as full as it gets (I dont think) and thats how much taller the pots Im using are. This should give you an idea of what Im talking about.  Im gonna have more questions in a bit.

i have never messed with ebb and flows, it seems as tho hydrotron wouldnt wick much, maybe thats why its called flood and drain, but i would letit fill up until its almost to the run-off line that keeps it from flooding too much and flooding your room. how many GPH is your pump?

EDIT- Just noticed an adjustment slide. It was only pumping half strength, so I turned it all the way up. Hopefully it pumps some more water into the tray.

im not sure man i wish i could be more help, i guess if you can afford it, just keep using test plants in the system and see how it goes, see if they get enough water or if youll need to hand water. what is your lighting set up?

Yo man how has the flood table been working for ya?
Hey man looks like you got yourself some nice bud off your last grow eh! Well I am also using a flood and drain table right now and was wondering if it has working good for you? Have you had good results using this method and do you think it is a good choice to achieve good yieldS?

just throwin it out there but maybe get another 250 watt system and cover more of the table or use onemh and one hps in veg. have you heard of that before, i think dual spectrums would rock im looking into it i have some unwired ballasts i could put to use.

Went home to do a little work on my setup today to find there are creatures living in my attic, but I couldnt find them. They were making freaky sounds and I was honestly to scared to look in there to see what they were. Anyway, all of the seeds germinated successfully, but I dropped one on the floor when I was transfering it to the rockwool cubes and I was stoned as hell and accidentaly crushed it. So now I only have 5 speed queens.
I am also germinating one seed from an indoor mix pack I got from seedboutique.com and it could be; Master Kush, Pure Power Plant, Afghan, Skunk #1, and Nirvana Special. Lets hope it'll be MK. Moving the MegaGarden into a closet tomorrow and hopefully I will have some pics of a complete setup for you guys.

I've been having awesome luck with the seeds I got from seed boutique. 100% of the seeds I ordered from them so far have sprouted and grown well.

This doesn't look normal
Speed Queen 4 showed its first set of leaves today but they dont look normal. The leaves are brown and I have no idea why. The water in the res. is just fresh pH adjusted water with no nutes at all.
Is this normal? Will they turn green?
