First grow 4.5 weeks. LST, bag seed, flo

This is my first grow i am using
6 florescent tube lights putting out about 1200 lumens each
They are just bag seed
i started them oct 22nd

so if you wanna give some imput on how they are doing and that sorta stuff feel free

the first pic is my grow box
second is a pic of " gumby twist "
third is "florecent sunshine"
and forth is "jungle panther"

Looking good man. Your about 10-12 days ahead of me, but your looking alot bushier. One question: In the first pic I see where everything is at, but are you just going up and out of that box. How tall are you gonna get?

i am lsting them down in a circle patter when everything is in the plants are about 3.5-4 inches from the lights.

lol I like your names, especially jungle panther. What kinda soil/ferts are you using? They look real healthy, lookout for giving them too much N though they look like they're pretty dark.

im using just potting soil from the home depot, nothing speical, and i am using a 15-30-15 fert,

i added a circulating fan to my box and if you notice in the first pic there is a light not lit sitting on the side.
i moved that and hooked it up so i got 7 lights now. ill update in a few days

i upgraded the lighting systen i have 6 lights putting out 1600 lumens each and 2 of the tubes putting out 1200 each for a total of 12,000 lumens so i think the light is good now. ill show you a pic of the plants tuesday at 5 weeks

Have you thought of putting a screen on the top of that box? It looks like just enough room for a SCROG if you leave your pots where they are, let the plants grow through it and find a way to move the lights up.

oh here are some new pics of them wont be able to post on the real 5 weeks tomorrow
also got a venus fly trap i dunno if it will do anything but what ever it was at the dollar store
the new lights seemed to help and work pretty good

well im gonna turn to 12/12 in about a week and i wanted to try to clone so i took some today
i bought the book
Marijuana Horticulture: The Indoor/Outdoor Medical Grower's Bibleand i followed the instructions
and i took 3 clones, one from each plant
so i took a quick picture

i didnt use that cloning stuff but what ever

put them in fine potting soil

been misting them with water

if anyone has any input on cloning it would help alot

Did you get a good sexing before you took clones? Or are just living on a hope and prayer? Cloning in sole, expecially without a rooting agent, doesn't always work. I have that exact same book as you. Excellent tool but make sure you're not skipping the little things. If you're going to clone, wait till you have the sex and spring for a decent clone box. If you insist on soil (I use soil), you need to get a good rooting agent and ensure the medium is very well saturated before introducing the clone. Watering, even with a mist bottle, can cause the clone to shift in the dirt and the force can kill all the new roots.

well here it is tomorrow is 6 weeks gonna turn the lights off for 48 then to 12/12 and their presexs are visible got a magnifying glass and they all look to be female will find out tho for sure in a couple weeks
clones look ok leaf tips turned yellow the book says its a sign of rooting, other then that not much happening

your prolly going to need a clonig tray with a humidity dome some rockwool cubes and some rooting agent to get real good quality clones. i have my doubts about the strait in the dirt with no root get... go to yourlocal hydroponics store and get a bag of Fox Farm dirt for your next grow its made for mj and its sterle. good work though
