My Grow

Well if you've seen me around in the Absolute Beginners Forums then you know that I've had a couple of seedlings, and they're on their way. I posted a few pics sometime last week of the babes and one shot of my setup. So I decided today that I would start a diary, and since this site has been so helpful I thought I owed it to you'll to share my success. So here are a few pics of what I'm working with so far. I'm only growing two and they are about 2-1/2 to 3 weeks old..........They've been under 192w of daylight cfls for 24hrs a day....Potted in Fox Farms OB/Perilite/Building sand mixture.....Watered when needed with pH adjusted.... and I guess that's about it, so without further ado...........

Welcome back, that is if your returning; and hey how ya doin if it's your first. It's been about 24hrs and as you know, if you grow, there has been a little growth. Purple has opened up a bit more, and Pink has a new leaf set sprouting. I feel that I'm getting a good distance between sets (approx. 1/4"). I'm not posting any pics today but starting my measurements log. So I'll just get to it.

Well Happy Thanksgiving to all, I see that I forgot to mention that in my earlier post. After stuffing myself with my delictables I came home and saw some growth of the green. So I pulled out the camera and tape measure and heres what I came up with.....

looks good. add a fan blowing across the top of the pots (if you dont already have one) it'll help.

and how far are your cfls? get them real close.

Thanks Guys. I've been having fun with this grow, which is weird, cause it seems that alot of pepole stress out and ask tons and tons of questions during their first grow. I guess I'm a nerd for reading threads on this site for like 3 months before I started growing. To answer your question blackmore I do have a fan blowing over them lightly 24hrs, and my cfl's are 1 3/4" away. This is my chosen height, only because I've watched how they've reacted to this. I don't think they're stretching and I haven't seen any heat stress or bulb burns. To everyone else; sorry but yes it is just bagseed. Introduce me to a man that will turn down free grass though, of any kind, and I'll show you a guy that's not me. LOL Anyways I might post a couple more pics today, maybe not. Keep an eye out though, and thanks for stopping by

Hey how ya doin and welcome back. Since we've last seen each other I took the liberty of purchasing two more cfl's and have integrated them into my grow. The plants have been flurishing since the new addition of wattage. I had an early night sunday and an even earlier lab (*5am)monday. When I arrived tonight I poked my head in for a quick control reading and got a small whiff of a heavenly aroma. The were a bit hungry so I fed them, and have since tucked them away for the night. Before doing so I managed to snap a few standalones..........

I'm right there with ya man! I started my first grow in a year yesterday, and I feel like it's actually going to be pretty fun. Nice lookin' plants man, I hope mine look half as good as that!
