Growth still good. 1100ppm and 5.5ph. The water is very dirty with nutes so the roots are covered with brown stuff. is this normal? Roots are growing like mad, I'll post pics soon.

I cut off the top of the plant on accident doing some lst stuff, no worries though. This will be one Frankenstein of a plant.

Here are some pics I don't have much to say right now because I'm blitzed.

Keep it real

The pH dropped down to 4.5 while I was out of town. I think that's what caused this discoloration. It has only affected this leaf though so I guess I caught it pretty early. pH is back up to 5.5.

That's a great idea! + rep!

Explosion of Growth

This plant is truly a power plant. She takes all kind of abuse and just keeps on growing. I'm able to keep the roots at an optimal 68F, which she really seems to love, by changing the bath water periodically. The great thing is that she's in my bathtub right next to a toilet so I just go and sit down from time to time and just stare at the plant growing this way and that. It's really cool to see it bend painfully one day to gracefully the next. These plants are fucking vigorous as a mother. At this rate I'll start 12/12 within the next few weeks. I'm running out of room to tie down.

I plan to move the whole setup into my closet. I just harvested another grow so the space is available. I'm not in any rush to get in there though so I will take advantage of the bathtub for cooling until I go 12/12. Once I do that the water won't heat up as much since the lights will only be on half as much. I'll also need to move into the closet anyway since I don't have a carbon scrubber in my bathroom like I do in the closet.

Well, here's my baby.

Six Weeks man and thanks. It's growing like fucking crazy. The weird thing is the roots aren't all that big. Their nothing compared to the roots of my last grow. I was thinking about putting it on 12/12 soon but with all that unused root space I feel like I would be wasting potential.

She truly is a Power Plant topping and lst'ing hasn't bothered her one bit. I've got the EC jacked up to almost 2.2 and she hasn't burned up. This is one hell of a strain!

A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

Nutes Added

I think this is a Nitrogen/Potassium Def. I switched to flower nutes only, per foxfarms feeding schedule, when I switched to 12/12. She didn't like it at all. I just did a half tank res change. I emptied half out and added fresh water plus grow big(veg nutes) to get the ec back up. The PH has been fine the whole time. Hopefully she pulls through this, it's only been 4 days since the switch to 12/12.

I usually don't start the flower nutes until a couple few weeks into 12/12. That's soil though; hydro might be different.

No its the same.during the first few weeks of flower a plant kicks into over drive. N is needed to fuel the stretch.depriving it of nitrogen and feeding it higher amounts of P only forces the plant to cannibalize its self. Not good.even in full flower some N should be used.Good green leaves feed good fat buds.

Thanks guys. I changed back to veg nutes and she seems to be getting better. I don't know why I started to follow the foxfarm feeding schedule so closely. I was worried about it when I made the switch but was too rushed over the Christmas break to think straight, apparently. She's growing like crazy now though. I'll post more pics in a bit.

The Good News

The right nutes made all the difference.

The stem is about the size of a half dollar. It looks so alien.
