Took come clones

I chose a few vertical branches that were small and cut them off. Removed the 2 lower leaves, re-cut at a 45 degree angle, scraped the bottom 2'' of the side of the stem with the razor blade, dunked the clones in water, and dipped the stems in Shultz rooting power and planted them in my little 4'' plastic pot things with regular potting soil that were thoroughly pre-watered. I covered them with seram wrap to keep moisture in. They are close to a heat vent so hopefully that will help with rooting. Do you think the seram wrap is going to block too much light? I also don't have a spray bottle, I think im going to pick up one tomorrow. How can I keep the plants moist enough w/o a water bottle?

hahah, thats awesome. you do the same thing i do with the duct tape holding the strings. Works pretty good huh? The one i have under cfl's has been trained so much and the stem is soo super thick that it actually pulls the strings out. Ihad to cut holes to tie the strings through on that one. Your plants look sweet, cant wait to see this one finish. Oh, just one thing. One of your post said something about yellow leaves and you thought it was nitrogen def. Im not saying you are wrong so please please dont think i am, but yellowing leaves can be a sign of almost ANY def, and/or over fertilizing. Its a matter of where, when, how its turning yellow. Just dont go adding a bunch of nitrogen. It could be cause of ph, or nute lock out or many many things. If its one of those and not nitrogen def and you add more nitrogen you are going to make it even worse. Im sure you know all of this, imjust saying. Please dont take it the wrong way, cause those plants look sick as hell! (sick in a good way)

Well, from the looks of your plants everything is going great. I mean those things are awesome. I was only mentioning that cause some people will pour some type of really strong nutrient on their plants at the first sign of yellowing. You obviously arent that stupid cause your plants are look nice.

I can't believe how fast they grow. It took mine 1 whole week to sprout, and after 3 1/2 week, the bummer is not even 4'' high. all this because I overwatered .I re-potted her friday and start giving low nutes. she seems to be doing fine.

Day 57

I finally got some money and picked up a box of 6-12-0 Bonemeal for flowering and sprinkled a little on top of the soil. The buds are coming along. I can't wait to see what they do in the next few weeks. The budding seems slow compared to how fast they grew when vegging but since these plants look to be more Sativa so I guess that would make sense. I'm going to be gone snowmobiling the next 4 days so it will be interesting to see how much the buds grow while im gone. A bunch of the leaves are curling under which is probably because I was giving them full strength MG Tomato Food during flowering which has to much nitrogen in it. Plus I still have never checked the pH. Hopefully ill be getting a chemical soil pH test kit and pH down from my gf for Christmas.

Wow, yeah those were growing really fast when you were veging them. The difference from your day 7 pic and day 20 pic is tremendous. Good job!

Harvest

The plants health started to go to shit during flowering. Feeding them the high pH water from the faucet might have eventually caught up with them, but they ended up loosing a lot of their fan leaves. Then I got a possession ticket so I was a little sketched out and decided now would be a good time to harvest. The buds seemed to have stopped growing anyways. They are very light buds but their potency is pretty decent. Probably mids.
