Golden Teacher PF-Tek grow... MUSHROOOOOMMSSS!!!

So i have been really into psycadellic experiences as of the last 6 months. i tried mushrooms about half a year ago, did them maybe 7 times, including twice last weekend, and managed to get two seperate hookups for acid this week, ate blotters and a sugar cube on thursday and friday night, and now i am full on into my quest for further visionary exploration. ever since the first time i ate mushrooms, i knew i would want to do them again, but seeing as both my homes in indiana and georgia, do not yield much in the way of mushrooms, i have decided to once again, take matters into my own hands.

i have always been one to try and do as much as i can do to better my situation, and fix things that are in need of repair. if i am not able to afford something, i usually find a way to build something to replace its function. in this case, due to my lack of mushrooms connects, i am going to be growing some golden teacher mushrooms using the PF-Tek method.

I ordered my first spore syringe tonight. it was about 25 dollars including shipping. luckily one of my two homes allows the shipment of these syringes, so i am able to buy them with no worries.

now, i have not yet confirmed this, but essentially, once i grow mushrooms, i should be able to regenerate my own spore syringes. i have not read of a method yet, but i have a plan in my mind that i am going to attempt after the first fruit and flushes are complete.

i have a very large rubbermade tub that i am going to use for fruiting. it is the same size as my growbox and i can sit it right on top, and achieve perfect temperatures for every step of the process. i can also utilize the light given off by the system insted of having a seperate lighting system for the mushrooms.

i will update this thread probably in the next few days, as i will be going out to buy all my supplies. i have been thinking about what to use as far as jars, and i have decided to just go out and get a very cheap set of table glasses. i read that it will be fine, as long as they are able to birth the cake easily. i pretty much have a lot of the other needed equipment, and i have read several guides that skip the pressure cooker step, and since i dont have access to one, or have any money to buy one, i will be skipping that stem and taking extra care not to contaminate my specimins.

i hope yall are looking forward to what i think will be an equally interesting grow as my rubbermade growbox is. I will probably receive the spores next week, and right away i will innoculate the jars. as i have read, there are about 2, 2 week periods before the first mushrooms grow, and the final growth period was described as being 3-5 days. i also read into abhorted mushrooms, and im really looking forward to seeing them grow, and having another plant to study (yes, i know its technically a fungi)

anyway, stay tuned everyone, i will have photos up very soon, even if its only the preperation steps, i feel it can benefit anyone else looking for an in depth grow on the board.

i have spore syringes from the beginging of the year, ive been asking random people on the site how long theyre good for I think theyre costa rican cubes. I havnt fucked with them at all. How long will spore syringes last untampered with

But ya retro its cool to see people on here growin mushies I bought a kit and didnt try n knockin up the jars cuz i figured i waited to long and theyd be contamed. But basically i have all the shit except anything to prepare jars. I dunno about those prepared mycobags...

it was seriously a waste of cash straight up ( in my situation having already bought the shit n never used ) so i really wanna know if those mycobags are worth it or what

I have a bin in bin type of thing. Its like two rubber maid bins fill the bottom bin with water partially and heat it with an aquarium heater. the top bin sits inside that bin nice and snug and you keep the jars in the top and you can adjust the aquarium heater from there if that makes any sense. Again i got a guide and havnt looked into it since the begining of the year.

Im just really concerned about getting some prepared untaminated jars somehow with out making them. arg
