Ive had 4-5 pm`s now on how ive made my system and what parts i have

so i guess im gonna try to make a guide for some people, its insanely easy, and theres a few things i wish i would have done differently and added more features, so ill add them into this guide lol.

Ok, here it goes, please bear with me,

what you will need for this system is
air-stones x4 you get these at walmart or a fish store
1 bubble bar, walmart or fish store
1/2 inch pvc T fittings x4-lowes

2 lengths of 1/2 inch pvc pipe-lowes

20 feet of 1/4 inch inner diameter airline tubing, you can get this at walmart
4 netpots.

Air pump, strength dosent have a real big factor here, more air the better though, just make sure you have 4-6 outlets in all to power the air stones.

1 18 gallon rubbermaid tub.

1 roll of aluminum tape.

i think thats everything,

Before i say anymore all the credit of this machine should go to Rump, and a little to Earl for the drain idea.

Ok, so you have your 18 gallon tub, take that roll of aluminm tape and tape it up good, real good. light proofing is key, if you can do 2 layers of this tape, when you get that done it should look like this.



Now that its all taped up, lets take care of the netpots,

take the lid to the tub, using a hole saw cut 4 4inch holes in the lid, i had no hole saws so i used a kinfe and a razor,

Now the Inside of the machine.

First off you need to measure the width of it, do that and cut a length of your pvc pipe just about 1/8 inch short, put a T fitting on each end that way it kind of wedges inside and stays put with no glue, now that the pipes are in place drill a 1/4 inch hole in the piping right under where each basket will go, run your tubing through the side of the T fitting and out through the hole you drilled, do this for each side and you should have something like this,




i keep a bubble bar in the middle just for more air. but drill some small holes around the top where the handles are to run your tubing out to your pumps,

Fill it with 15 gallons and turn it on and see how it bubbles.

From this point on its pretty much ready, the only thing i wish i had done to mine is a drain like earls, i think it would be great gor this system, heres how to install that

Earls drain.









But that is pretty much how i built this thing, without the drain,

All i really have done is adapt everyones systems into something i thought would work for me, i hope it works out for one of you guys.
