no but i bet it would be if i cut another hole!

but yes you are correct on everything, the hot air from my lights goes into that duct box thing, i used to have it setup where the hole is now, a 5 inch mean ass computer lookin fan that did intake but it burnt out, so this grow i stuck the exhaust there, last grow i had no where for the exhaust from my light to go so i kept the door open alot, maybe i can get a new intake fan like my old one and put it in the same spot and cut another hole for my exhaust, or would i be intaking the ot stale air?

sorry if that didnt make much sense im also decently baked.

its not the factory sunsystem hood fan its like 20 times stronger, its built kind of like a computer fan, but really thick plastics and it has a straight up plug in, its round and about 8 inches not sure the CFM but it does the job 10 fold, it keeps my light hood so cool i can let my canopy sit about 6 inches away from the glass shield without them burning, the fan seems like its the same as a vortex or or other an, but just the inards ive googled the serial number and model number and company but i didnt find anything, it moves HELLA air though

can you replace the closet door?
what i did at my last place (i rented) i picked up a door at home depot for like $20 and cut a 15x15 (approx) square in the bottom. I stapled 2 layers of carbon prefilter (the shit for hepa air filters) to keep it light proof and to keep dust and stuff out.
that passive intake lowered my temps like 8-10 degrees.

that is sooo do-able! i wanted to replace the door and lock, now this just gives me more reason, i have all the carbon filter left over from when i did the DIY carbon scrubber, ill just cut a hole in the current door and do that and replace the lock and put a new door on when im done and leave this place, and if thats still to hot ill expirament with it and see if i can make another hole in that metal duct box for more cold air intake, hell i can even set another bog box fan in front of the shut door to force some air through the hole in the door,

you rock august you always come through with good info/advice and always so helpful,
when i invent a device to distribute high fives and buds through the computer screen youll be the first to get one

also, i dont know if you read my post a few posts back about having two a/c vents in my room i can duct one straight into a hole in my door, it would only be like 5 feet of 4 inch duct hose across my floor, im not worried about if anyone sees it, because one would ever see it but it seems like to much clutter, i like your idea better

sweet dude.. that really helped me when i was growing in the closet.. as long as that exhaust is kicking you'll get a really good intake going. It totally solved my issues dude it sould work great for ya. It'll get more co2 flowing around in there as well!
glad it helped mang!

it's 52x52x7'. I really dig it.. my only issue is it needs work with the lightproofing. A little ductape, velcro and some of that black carbon stuff worked on it. Otherwise it's great.

they may not be big up top but I'd bet they've got MASSIVE root systems by now and are poised for an INCREDIBLE amount of EXPLOSIVE growth!

that's what I think anyways...

doob.. about the small plants, they look so much like my hydrohut plants. Have you grown in that space before?
Nice work on that passive man! If it still leaks light just add another layer of that black stuff.
