hell yeah i heard great things about them man i cant wait to get it, imho i got it for a steal. the auction got crazy in the last hours, and i refused to back down 305 with shipping, ordering a 6 inch vortex and a filter right now and a cheap 95 cfm squirel cage for general exhaust, the 6 inch vortex is just for cooling the light and smell.

found a 6inch fan and filter combo in HTGS for 199.99

Now its time to choose a HPS bulb,and i will recommend the one i use(Eye Super Hortilux)@145,000 lumens of great light.

The 1K is the bomb and an AC fixture will stay clean and cool enough to keep the light fairly low,you may not burn the plants but watch out for bleaching your tops cause the 1K is much more powerful than it seems.

Thanks man! ve got clones hopefully rooting of the WW and MK if they root ill take some more WW cuts and either do two BIG girls or 4 mediums, not sure yet! but im very excited i wich that gear would be here as soon as you pay pal the money.

thanks man, yeah ill start it out high and ease it down slowly, i noticed AW has i think 10 inch fans, will anice 6 inch fan cool and filter the 4x4x6.5 area and light?

my plan is a 6 inch to cool the light with air pulled through the filter and spit out side the tent, and also having a 95 cfm squirell cage blower for plant exhaust, if i need intake i can get hella air flow gong it i use the fan that cools my 400 watt!

It should be fine but it really all boils down to intakes temp,if its too high even a 12" fan wont do much but a good 6" will work you may just need to have a few more inches between your plants though.

with that hood oci, how do you think would be the best way to fix up the ducting, and fan to cool the light, and the fan and filter, i was going to do it, like, the filter on the left side of the hood, with a fan sucking air through the filter, then the hood and out, but i just realized i cand do that with that hood,

i mean its a 4x4x6.5 with standard 4 and 6 inch intakes/exhausts, what would you recomend? im confused as to how it has to be set up to filter and how to scrub the air lol, i know to scrub it it has to be re-circulated in the enviroment yeah?

So your intake is 4" and your exhaust is 6" on the fixture??

Using the right sized filter high in the room will start the line,(6" all the way,no 4")6"duct from the filter to the light(short as possible with enough flex duct to move your light through its hights)out the light and out the tent with the fan at the end (outside if possible but not necessary).

You will need either one big or several passive intakes or an intake fan moving just a bit less than the exhaust is moving so your tent makes a neg. pressure by just a little bit so your scrubber filters all the scent.

This will exchange the tents co2,exhaust the excess RH,filter all the scent and cool the light and tent all in one system.

Keep all your duct lines as straight as possible to increase flow and remember you cant just go by the fans CFMs,the ducts and scrubber will kill several CFMs on the exhaust side,you will need to Tailor the system if you need it to scrub 100% efficiently.

that sounds great man, and i looked it has 4 sets of intakes/exhaust pretty much 2 in each corner, and a rectangle passive that is big. the thing im confused on is my hood is not a straight shot like aw`s. but i think i get what your saying, i need to mount my fan nd run duct to suck the heat from my hood, but in between the fan and light needs to be the filter? and the tent comes with 4 and 6 inch flanges to make the intake exhaust what ever size your using

My can 50 filter has only one big hole which is where my exhaust starts by scrubbing the air,then its off to cool the light,then out to the fan.

Using the filter first will keep your light clean and dust free so you never need to open and clean it.

lol i still need it painted out man, im just not with it, i get what your saying, just not how to do it with a HPS hood that has one 6 inch hole instead on a exhaust hole on ech end like GJ`s and AW`s

If your light isn't an in and out with a glass lens then your set up will be dif. than i have described.

I just opened my mind to see that your light may be of a dif, design than mine.

When your done bro,you will have one tite system i guarantee.
