Got some more pictures of the flowering bunch. I think they're starting to look a little better, but the buds are puny and aren't as frosty as I was hoping.

I have been noticing slight traces of nutrient burn on some of the older leaves, so after today, i'm only gonna fertilize two more times, then use just plain distilled water till I stop watering them for good.

Oh yeah, I'm expecting to cut them (the 3 biggest plants) down in 14 days. Does this seem reasonable considering the buds still seem kinda small and only the bigger buds are frosty..

I still havent gotten a magnifying glass... I'll make sure to go get one from Radio Shacc tomorrow (If it doesnt cost too much).

I've been kinda busy and havent really been able to update much recently; but I should have some time to do so on Tuesday. I'll also post pics of the clones, they havent grown an inch! I think it's because they're switching gears from flowering to vegetating, but it's been two weeks and absolutely no growth... I guess I just gotta wait and see, at least none of them have died yet (when I first took clones, half of them died by the 2-week mark, and half of the survivers died this last week)

CLOSE-UPS:

1. 'White Widow'

2. 'HinduKush'-2

harvest by trich condition only, anything else is guessing

and the buds that are less frosty you could leave and let them develop a bit more, though results on doing that may vary...

I opted to remove most popcorn sites from my plants cuz they have not been producing as good a smoke

I took my clones from my last grow very late in flowering - like 10 days before harvest lol. They rooted fairly fast and easy, but then took quite a while before they started growing. And the growth looked really weird at first. They put out more sugar leaves - minus the trichs - for the first 2-3 weeks, and then finally started putting out fan leaves. I've had them growing for about 6 weeks now, and it's only been the last week or two that you could look at them and tell they were MJ plants. So I guess it really does take a bit for them to switch back from flower to veg mode.

hey sloppy nice job on the grow i just had a question for ya really, did you start with bag seed or buy some, they look very sativa dominant and hindu kush is a 100% indica strain not trying to be rude or anything just curious, keep it up man

dam... looks like i got a little more hanging in there to do. I decided as a final fail-safe, I'm gonna try to do a partial harvest so I can reveg the plants.

about the strains... I've kinda accepted that I got jipped. I'm not really mad or anything tho cus they're growing decently dense buds and as long as it's dank, I really dont care.

I'm definitely getting Dr. Chronic seeds if i buy again

Yeah, I'm never gonna try to clone so far into flowering again, just takes too long for clones to switch gears and then root.

The one that rooted is just now starting to grow and slowly too. 5 weeks and it looks almost exactly the same (except for leaves which are now slowly getting longer).

Conclusion: It's much easier and quicker to clone bagseed (or predominantly indica) plants.

I would exersize a little patience here the last while of waiting is the hardest . They look good so far! I always wait till half of the little "hairs or pistals" or whatever they are called have turned brown before I even check the trichs. Lookin good tho! Just remember they are only gonna get bigger in the next couple a weeks.

Relax, those plants are nowhere near ready.
The good news is that Sativa's tend to fatten up in then 1/2 half of the flowering cycle.
So that's like week 5-10 of flowering.
The bad news is that these babes are begging for a HID to do just that.

Give it more time dude, at least 4 more weeks. You'll miss out on the fattening stage otherwise

(but I am days away from harvest, few more percentage points of amber and I am DONE with this round!)

Next round is also flowering (the hb experimentals are flowering)
