so I put the vent in real quick. The jigsaw is loud as hell so I made the hole hastilly and not perfect but the fit is exact, didnt even need to screw it in lol

Here is the whole finshed ventilation system outside and in, lemme know if u see anything horribly wrong . . .

The whole outside. Intake and exhaust



Starting from the outside bottom, switched out the active intake for another 2"passive



Outside middle, (2) 2" passives and (1) 8x8" passive


And the inside


the bottom, under the shelf 2" passive


The shelf has two big holes where the ebb flow nozzles will gow after this soil grow, and then small holes around where the ebb tray goes for air to come up from below. Im thinking I might still pump some co2 slowly into the bottom passive and as it comes up through the holes it will still do some good, no?? even if the air isnt saturated???


Then the middle, u can see where its not a perfectly square hole but it fit in there like a glove



And out the top through the tube and through another exhaust


Now, I dont wanna say the cab's done done, but for now I think it's ready. I know Ill be doing improvements and who knows how it will work, but it should grow some buds.

HPS causes it to yellow out, no??

Had to take them out to make my little catch pan complete. Im using the grow tray which will drain into my res. I think it should work pretty well.

Well thats it for now thanks again for all the tips I think the cab likes the 8x8 passive. Think Im gonna switch to 12/12 tonight can't wait any longer

we'll see I guess, these 2 have been thru some tough times so hopefully theyll do well. Im going to use fox farm big bloom does anyone have any experience with this??

big bloom works well.. ive used it in the past. Don't be afraid to use it at full strength according to the package.

Actually, no. Or at least, not quite like that. You may be running a tad bit nitrogen deficient.

Yeah that makes sense I guess, Ive been giving them just water for a minute, a little MG WS Plant food, Ill be givin them FF Big Bloom from now on.


I DO think that HPS doesnt get plants as lush green as MH, or even CFL tho.

Temps were 66 at the screen 68 a little above this morning!!!! with the light on!!! Im flippn to 12/12 today I just got drunk last night lol. Some of the smaller tops on the MK aren't QUITE above the screen but they'll get up there during the stretch yeah??

Well Ive been meaning to put my veg clones in a box and I was bored so I was like fuck it I went and got the smallest closetmaid they have at Home Depot and made a little veg cab. I put it together REAL quickly while watching a dvd so the stripping is kinda shitty and I still have to adjust the hinges. But the idea is solid and once its totally lightproof and vented it will be the shit. Much much stealthier and it puts my mind at ease. I have to get curtains too for the hole hutch that the cab is in and Ill be rocking and proverbally rolling



I gotta say I love building shit. I should have taken my time on this cab but it was hella easy. Took me less than an hour with everything, light included.

I might go back and restrip and shit if I feel like it. Its just for vegging so it doenst have to be perfectly lightproof feel me?? K playboys holla at me. Watch the pats tomorrow!!!!
