Hey.. That speed queen is looking really well!!! You more than likely wont need to flush.. I would just let the soil dry out for an extra day or two and water with some ph balanced bottled water.. If you really want to give her nutes I suppose you could just dilute the mix a little bit more! Also have you gotten rid of those nasty thrips for good?? Anyways she is looking healthy and there is a ton of new pistil growth!!

Still got thrips. I have no idea why. Insecticidal soap didn't do shit, neither did neem oil. It keeps the population from going crazy but doesn't get rid of the fuckers! Its driving me nuts. The only thing I could see working is buying some bugs that eat thrips. I dont want to give her anymore nutes, i'm just going to continue using straight water for the next 3 weeks, flush the soil, then use straight water till harvest. I've already beat my last harvest and I still got 30+ days, i'm exstatic to see how this is gonna turn out! Thanks for checking it out ssnataku, nice to see someone is watching from time to time

Not sure. The bugs I was reading about will eat the thrips and eggs untill they are all gone, and then start eating each other so I dont just get infested with thrip eaters. Cool stuff, I have to starting looking for a nursurey that carries them, I heard ordering them online you risk 75% of the bugs being dead by the time they get to you.

I think i'm gonna have to go by trics on this one. I've been reading that because SpeedQueen is an F1 strain, the time varries.

I just went crazy and took bud pictures today Buds are getting bigger, theres less yellow on the plant since I quit feeding it, and the crystal coverage is getting nice! Theres also that very tangy fruity aroma that I LOVE. The smell from SpeedQueen alone just makes my mouth water. Were about two weeks away from final flush (Final Flush on Jan 25th). Picture time!

Quick Update...
Day 29 of 12/12

Not much news. I plan to water the next time I update, which will be another two days (i'm hoping to update every 2 days through the grow). I switched out a 23watt bulb@2700k for a 27watt bulb@5500k. What for? It just seemed like a good idea to give it red and blue light. Today I have two pictures, an ariel shot of the plant, and then, the best close-up you can get with a Samsung a930

Day 33 of 12/12

Good news Buds are filling in, slowly but surely. Still got a long wayyyys to go. I was moving bulbs and smashed one of my 42 watters So in its place is another 23watt bulb. Now using 4x23w bulbs and 1x42 bulb. Still using just water, no more nutes. Next week, on the 19th we hit 40 days - and it will be the final flush day. After that, were on the last two to three weeks. Just reminding that this is the last time I will revegg, the plant will be cut this time because I want dry and cure it correctly. I also saved up a few Strawberry jam bottles to cure the buds. If I can grow at least an ounce dry this round then i'll be happy and this whole experiance has been worth it, right now I think i'll hit the goal no problem, showing that anyone can do it Accomplished with a few cfls, a cheap timer and a cheap fan with a bucket and some soil.

Approaching final flush! So we actually hit 40 days on the 20th and not the 19th, i'm an idiot. Plan is to flush with ph corrected water. I might go three weeks instead of two after the flush, depending on how ripe and how full the buds are. I want to get extreamly fucked everytime I hit this weed so the more it makes me hack up a lung the better... sort of. i think. Starting to see about 35-40% red hairs... joy I didn't tell you guys, but I did pick one of the smallest branchs off (ended up with .3 once it dried lol) and took a quick bong sample. I felt the rush as before I let the hit out! I freaking cant wait!!! argh!

My girlfriend has a digi, I know I keep talking about it throughout the thread but i'm gonna really get on her ass about remembering to bring it with her. Untill then i'm doing the best I can with the camera phone, dont got a magnifying glass and i'd rather just buy the memory card for my digi rather than wigger rigg my camera phone. One of these weekends when she comes over i'll take the good pictures, I want to take some good macros as bad as you wanna see them Compared to the last round the crystal coverage on this round is amazing - I cannot wait to smoke these buds

I love how these pictures look on my girlfriends camera!!! i'm getting sooooo fucking excited, this plant is seriously looking super super super dank! Keep in mind this is under CHEAP FLOURESCENT LIGHTING Were talking maybe $35 in lights! 2x42w bulbs and 3x23w bulbs. The results are amazing! I'm also considering pushing tomorrows flush a few days back.
