I can tell the plant is loving the 42 watt bulbs, i'm glad I bought them. Tomorrow I plan on watering, maybe. I'll take some better pictures of the grow spot so you guys can see the ghetto setup.

4th day of 12/12.
No signs of buds yet, not suprised

This thing is taking off - it better under 134 watts. The compactness is no longer an issue, since putting it on 12/12 it has started to stretch out which is awesome! I switched one of my 23 watt bulbs to a 27 watt daylight bulb so it gets more blue - when I see the first buds form i'll switch it back.

I got thrips! Ew. Sprayed the plant with some neem oil today, hopefully this kills off the nasty suckers. Getting really excited about this round! Theres tops everywhere! I'll post some new pictures tomorrow morning when the light turns back on.

8th day of 12/12.

We got hairs?!!! Already?!!!! You cant see them for shit in the pictures, but they are clear as day for me - i'm super excited!

You can see how much its grown in the past week! holy shit! I gave the plant its first nute bath yesterday. Right now all I have a Miracle-Gro 20-20-20 shit, made up a gallon of it and put ph at 6.8 - no signs of burn yet. I also sprayed for thrips. These little fuckers got miss identified as fungas gnats and I left them alone and just laid back on the water. I was checking for mites when I noticed the leafs being eaten in a few places. Sprayed the plant with neem oil - thus why you see white spots on the plant from where it dried. I dont see these fuckers flying around anymore - hopefully it kills all the eggs too.

Note: Thrips eat the leafs and will lay eggs in the plant leaf. The eggs take 3 days to hatch. Once they hatch, they drop into the soil until mature enough to fly around and eat the living shit out of your plants. To get rid off thrips, spray entire plant with neem oil, repeat after 3 days if return.

Anyone care to guess how many tops i'm gonna end up with lol. Note: It looks like around 5 at the LEAST

I'm really excited about seeing white hairs already, only 8 days since 12/12! I fucking love this plant, I love SpeedQueen.

Day 18 of 12/12

The top count is in... Looks like 4-5 stong colas with 2-3 weaker ones. I'm having one hell of a time with these thrips. They are eating the shit out of my leafs. I'v been spraying the soil with insecticidal soap once a day, and the plant every 3, then I kill the adults whenever I get a chance - but it doesn't seem to do jack shit! The buds are coming along suprisingly well. Lets just get into it with the pictures already...

I just hope I get those thrips in check. Now that I got bud shots, leave me some damn love grasscity! I've been debating the next round a lot lately. I dont have enough room to keep a mother and do clones. What i've got room for is two 1 or 2 gallon pots and my lights + timer + fan, the 7 gallon tubs are a pain in the ass - shoulda went with 3 or 5 gal. Out of respect for my parents, i'm trying to keep the grow area as small as possable ( 24" wide X 2', heigth not a concern ). So if I cant keep clones around, I can do the next best thing and go with some femenized seeds to weed out dealing with the males. I might even just take a break from growing depending on how rough this coming semester is on my schedual. Lots of stuff to think about... Time to roll a blunt and take a safety break before I get a headache.

wow nice i had herd of revegging but i dont get it do u jus cut off the cola and let the plant grow again?that simple? nice cfl grow thats wut im using!

Basicly I cut the main cola off plus a few lower bud sites, thats it. Cut it and put it back under light. For the light cycle, I left lights on for 24 hours for the first week. After that I transplanted into a 7 gallon bucket with new soil and switched the lights to 18/6 for three weeks. It was an amazing sight to see, new growth just shot out from every which direction and turned my mini tree into a bush. The benefit from reveggin is that this time instead of having one main cola, i'm gonna have 5

Everytime I open my closet I am greeted by my queen

She is starting to get that awesome mouth watering tangy fruit smell that I loved so much about her. Starting to see crystals on the leafs and the buds are starting to really form up. Today she got fed with 20-20-20 at 50%, i'm considering buying veg/flower nutes next time instead of using generic ferts all around. This is the best close-up I could get

Your revegged SQ is looking really good!! I hope you end up with a quality yeild since you will have multiple colas this time! I hear that on the nutes.. I've been using some K-gro 15-30-15 through flowering and I used some stern's Miracid 30-10-10 for vegging.. Hope to switch them out soon.. Anyways good luck with your grow!!!

New: Since its winter and the sun wont be outside for the rest of flower, I took out a sun visor for my car and put it in the grow room, seems to work good - I think its mylar

I still got some thrips! I have definatly killed off most of the population through spraying the soil and killing adults flying around. When I looked today, I didn't see any... first day thats happened.

Oh... I think I already beat my last yield lol. yay. I also found out petsmart has uvb cfl's! They sell a 26watt 2.0 uvb bulb. I'm considering if I should try it or not this grow. I kinda dont think i'll have room, but I do want to experiment with uvb & cfls on the next grow for sure.

Day 25 of 12/12

Not much news. Buds are getting slightly more filled in, not too noticable yet. I've been reading the board where MandellaMike post's at and he talks about his strains needing hardly any nutes. Well theres my problem. I'm growing in organic soil with nutrients at low levels (were talking .2-.1-.1 n-p-k) plus feeding with 20-20-20. Suprise! Nute burn. I dont think I need to flush, I just need to stop giving it food and only give it r/o water until I do the final flush - I think I should be O.K. (I was only feeding @ 50% anyway) with that. Also, if were going by breeder recommendations, we have 30 days left till harvest

I also was reading that SpeedQueen doesn't play nice with time estiments because its an F1 so who knows. I cant wait
