Re: Here We Grow Again- Mazar, Blueberry, and Purple Kush
WOW! I've been out of the GC for too long. Mr Goodstuff your thread is KILLER. I remember this thread from before everything I had got raided. It nice to see everything working (or working itself out) for you. Get some pictures up man , all that talk about leaf temps really made me realize why some of my grows were not harvesting what I expected. I've done a few more since whats in my siggy , and I only wish I had some pictures to log.
shoot us some pictures =) K+ for all the knowledge I'm hoping somebody might remember me LOL

Re: Here We Grow Again- Mazar, Blueberry, and Purple Kush
Hey guys, sorry for the ridiculous delays... I got the pictures though! I just can't upload them yet...
![]() The final yeild was WAY more than I thought it was! I yeilded over a pound of absolute fire cola/buds on top, but underneath that was over another pound of dank! When I cut the screen out with a pair of wire cutters, it took over a week to harvest just the top of the canopy. When I saw how much was underneath I was blown away. When hit with direct light for a week it frosted up just the same as usual, it just was smaller buds- not huge thick colas. I think it was around 2 1/2 pounds total!!! Even with all the heat and bug problems!!! ![]() Lets just say that it was way more than I thought it was going to be, that's for damn sure. It really helped move me forward in life that's for sure. Not having to buy pot allows me to go out all the time now. I had to buy a lot of new equipment though, so it really isn't the end of my worries about pot like I hoped- but I'm really close to that goal now. I have a lot of pictures of the setup but no computer with adobe photoshop to resize/edit them. I will make a new thread for the pictures of the setup. I just installed an in-ceiling speaker in the garden instead of using a boom box. My brother is an A/V salesman/tech and had the idea when I had to make another hole in the ceiling to re-direct the run of ducting that is cooling the hoods. It took out a horrible "S" bend that was slowing my fan down a lot, but left an 8" hole that needed to be patched. He suggested we put a speaker in there to patch it and kill two birds with one stone- patch the roof and add music to the garden. He brought a speaker for a 10" hole by accident, but we soon found out that even the smaller speaker wouldn't have fit because the other hole was too close. We ended up cutting yet another hole in my ceiling for it so it could work. I'll need to make a thread just to explain all the bs that went into installing that speaker and why it had to be that way... But it's really cool!!! ![]() In the future, I will design my grow rooms to have speakers in the walls and ceiling for both myself and for keeping the plants stomatas open using classical music. I have studies from the nutrient company, Canna, that prove plants stomatas respond to vibrations, or tones. I have always had a hunch they could feel vibrations but Canna proved it with tests using classical music and microscopes. Anyways I have some bad news though... Two plants have died from being transplanted, 2 out of 16. Not good odds at all... Even with b vitamins and a good environment. It was too dry though... (40-50%) They might have lived if I could have had it more humid. (70-80%) But I got to see which ones were strong and which ones were weak. I don't need weak plants in my stock, no matter how special the flowers are. You are only as strong as your weakest plant in my opinion. Weak plants can spread desease and slow you down, like these ones did to me. I was set back a week over these weak plants struggling to survive and then finally keeling over dead at the last minute. I couldn't use my HID lights at all. But now I'm taking them out along with another plant that doesn't seem to be growing the way I need it to. It's way too compact for the garden this time. So instead of 15 plants now I will have 12. It was a Jack the Ripper and Pandora plant that didn't make it and the shorter Cheese pheno is being taken out as well because it is growing too compact. Now I know that it is a SOG only plant though. This grow is definitely turning out to be very similar to the previous one with all the fucking holdups with transplant shock and shit... But I didn't lose any before. There was always a sign of life in them and I could use my HID lights just fine. But when I turned on the lights this time the 2 plants looked like they were dying within a half-hour! I think it was a combination of root damage from transplant and too high of a nutrient strength burning the relatively weak root systems of those fragile plants. I got to see the strong plants though- Blueberry is my strongest by far. Mazar, Ice, Siberian Frost, Chemdog, Kush and Agent Orange are strong too. Anyways I have a lot of work to do tonight and I wish I could post more but this is all the time I have. Take care everybody!

Re: Here We Grow Again- Mazar, Blueberry, and Purple Kush
Hey guys! It's great to see ya! I will be coming back one day, but right now I'm playing it as safe as I can.
I got lots of pictures and information but I don't have the time to edit them all and upload them like I used too. I tried to get something up but they watch me like a hawk at my old work when I'm there- and that's where I always used to post from. I'm worried about getting busted- and it's hard for me to explain my plans and everything over the internet at this time. I need security measures all over everything beyond just a carbon filter and door locks- and it's difficult to trust the internet these days, even with this forum being based in Amsterdamn and everything. All I know is that I want to share what I have learned through experience growing marijuana indoors; yet without risking all that I have built so far. I want to show pictures but I'm unsure as to how to do that without risking anything. Before I didn't think it was that big of a deal- but now it's a little bit more serious for just one guy if you know what I mean. It's the same tent and it's only 12 plants, but I just don't feel it's the same grow. So I'm left wondering how to upload pictures without leaving any type of trail. I would love to show everyone this environment... But I don't want to risk anything. It's hard... ![]() I love you guys and wish things could be different, but I don't even have the ability to really take pictures, edit them and upload them with commentary like I used too right now. I'm close, but I wanted you guys to know that when I feel that I can come back and post without risking a lot I will. ![]() One thing I will say in this post is that it would be a lot safer to grow at a house that you did not live in, even if it's only in a closet. I think that you have to take into consideration the damage it will cause you if you are busted, and how much it's worth to aim to grow away from home. It's definitely an adult-only consideration, but one that will allow you so much safety from women finding out and the risk that entails. Sure, it would be expensive... But how much do we spend on insurance??? I'll hit up a few threads on my way out, thanks for reading!
