Thanks guys- I'm really excited about it! It's about half-way dry now- sucks it's taking a few extra days now that the humidity is higher in the house... But it's all good, when it's done it's done I guess. It's just a bitch waiting!

@Sergio- Soma is definitely going to be my next breeder- and Lavender (#10) will be at the top of the list. Totally.

I have officially decided that the Haze is not worth my time because the genetics are just not up to par with what I would call dank. Right now I'm experimenting with it, giving it 1000 ppm to re-veg on and seeing what happens. Right now I'm going light on them around 700 ppm, and Lucas says that under HID 2.0 EC (1000 ppm)is the way to go, even with a little clone... So I'm wondering if when revegging you need to give them 1000 ppm too when they are under HID.

We'll see, I was planning on waiting until I saw new growth to step up the strength- but the Haze plant is now a test subject, I don't care if I fry it at this point


The aero clones I did are all rooting- 100% success. The smallest ones rooted first but the largest one seems to be ahead of the medium-sized ones... Kinda odd. It takes about a week after they root for the roots to get long enough to plant into the river system, so I'm estimating a maximum of 3 weeks to root my next round enough to plant.

I need to get them started tonight, and I'm using some Clonex on them this time to see if that helps things- I know for damn sure it helps with the medium-based clones! I'm talking it's like night and day.

Check out the mother plants though- it's madness! They just grow so damn fast in this system... Can't wait to see it under HID!!! and it's not even a perfect room!!!





It's just amazing underneath that little light... Around one month and I have to cut them back now! I'm glad I need the clones

I hope I have a similar area to dry it in my next house... Need to use clothes pins from now on though. Tying them up with strings is a pain in the ass.

Speaking of tying up... The Kush are straight flopping all over the place from the incredible weight of the buds! I've been meaning to string them up again but haven't had the time- they are at 9 whole weeks today, one week until the chop.

I'm considering taking out the 400 watt HPS and replacing it with the spare 600 I have now that the Mazar and Blueberry are done- but it will be a pain in the ass...

We'll see- the most important thing I have to do tonight is get my new round of clones started. Wish me luck- time hasn't been on my side lately...

which fan power (in cubic meters / hour) do i deed to completly remove that lights heat? can anything happen if the air flo will be too strong?

it runs about $180 or so

Wow let me say i've been reading this topic for a solid hour. You really seem like you have you're shit together, smart, and the most importantly... patient. Mad props and good luck on you're yields bro. I'm so sick of the dealers in Michigan, the bud here is SO pricey. My closet behind me is becoming more and more of an option to grow just a little something fun for myself. Gardening, be it pot or not, is so much fun... @Sergio- I must say that bulldog is the weirdest girl I have ever met in my entire life... I'm sure she's fine though.

I don't like to drink beer that much... I'm a smoker. The only alcohol I really enjoy is this 100 proof stuff called Rumpleminze- it's a peppermint schapps that literally tastes like liquid peppermint with a serious kick. Even then I am not known to get smashed drunk, I'll just drink a few shots here and there and catch a little buzz.

When trimming I enjoy smoking the weed I trim It's been a long wait and the pot really is some of the best I've ever smoked.

After we've trimmed a lot of it I'd say that 4X8 yeilded another pound of fire dry... Such a pathetic yeild for 1200 watts... Eh next time I'm not going to have inefficient tall plants- I'm filling the thing wall to wall and going for a straight carpet of nugs like AugustWest had during his SCROG that inspired this new SCROG I'm doing on Mazar.

Hopefully instead of 1 pound I can see more like 2 or 3, maybe even more! But after a few hauls like that I would have to shut down I think... I don't want to sell weed at all. I just want to have unlimited funky. LOL

Look up the "EcoPlus" type mag pumps- those are the highest quality pumps I've found at such a low price. I have about 7 of them in all different sizes because they perform so well at such a great price. Definitely check them out on National Garden Wholesale (NGW)

I don't think there is a fan or cooling device out there that can completely remove the heat from the light, it only reduces the heat dramatically.

But the cooltube you bought kinda narrows your choices on fan sizes- if it's a 4" cooltube I would recommend a 4" EcoPlus inline fan from National Garden Wholesale, that will work like a charm. Don't hook up one side of the cooltube to ducting so that becomes your out-take (vent) and you don't have to buy another inline fan.

Thanks for the replys, I've been up late a lot lately working on the project- last night was about 5 solid hours of trimming, but I have about 5 oz's in the stash now...

Flushed the Kush yesterday with straigh R/O water to prepare them for harvest. I've been flushing for a week with straight base nutrient and then 4 days with R/O water, but the Multiflow system we are using holds water in the buckets and controller, so the plants are being flushed at around 200 ppm instead of 0, which I think it better for their health anyways. I would recommend flushing at a low EC in hydroponics instead of reducing the nutrient strength to 0 (this is also the way Lucas recommends)

I can't wait for those bad-ass Kush nugs... They are straight ridiculous trying to control them... They just flop all over!!! I will always SCROG this strain from now on because of this- it's just built for it. It smells really good though- not as unique as the Mazar but just as good. Definitely a better smell than the Blueberry- it's really dank and skunky. I can't wait to try my first bowl of it... Especially after the Haze plant I put so much work into straight sucked balls... It tasted like burning pine needles!!!


In other news I cut all the clones I needed for my next round on my own about three days ago- took the plunge and I'm rooting them aeroponically in my new beastie. I was really worried about them but everything is perfectly normal after 72 hours. No wilting, stable temps in the proper range, pH is rock solid. I am taking precautions to prevent infection that may not be necesarry but I don't want to fuck this up- I'm changing the water every day for the first 3 days (until they heal the cut) and everything is healthy so far. I'm really excited about it all- oh, and I used some Clonex this time and yes it gets washed RIGHT off... LOL but does not effect pH at all.

I would recommend actually adding a little bit to the water if you decide to change it, about as much as you used originally on the clones. Like I used about 5 mL of Clonex on my clones so the next time I changed the water I added about that much to the 5 gallons of water it takes to fill the thing back up. It doesn't effect pH and is just a hormone so I believed it was safe, I mean the stuff was washed right off and was in the water- about 5 mL of it in 5 gallons and everything was perfectly fine. I would recommend using some sort of rooting hormone in the water like Clonex because I know how much it can help with rooting- I haven't done tests aeroponically but the tests I did using mediums were night and day. Clonex straight rocked the house!

I also added airstones to the aeroponic cloners (just like an EZ-Cloner it's modled after) and I think it really makes it better. I'll get some pictures of it all because it's pretty damn cool I must say

I'll get some harvest pictures too- I have some really nice Blueberry nugs and a few from Shug that straight look like they came from Cheech and Chong or something... I'm talking it looks like I got hooked up by Shaggy and Scoob with how funky it looks. Very happy day everybody!
