The Blueberry was interesting- it was done enough but not all the hairs had changed. The trich's are all cloudy with amber mixed in, the hairs just were still about 5 days off from changing the rest of the way. I just had to get them out of there and the new round into the high intensity light. It's extremely strong, I'd say as strong as the Mazar this time for sure (last time the Mazar was stronger than the Blueberry)- it'll make your head ring off a big hit. It was 11 whole weeks of 12/12, it was hard to justify leaving them in there when they were done enough then. I like how it looked with the orange and yellow hairs too, it doesn't dissapoint me in the least bit.

I just thought before I chopped them they could use another week still but it turned out great. Next time I'll hold out longer though, I agree with you. It just couldn't be helped. I'll miss the yellow hairs mixed in though, it looks really cool.

I did a smoke report on the Mazar, it's on this thread. I'll do a smoke report for the Blueberry now.

Dutch Passion Feminized Blueberry- 80% Indica
Flowering Time- 11 weeks
Maturity Level- All cloudy with 10% amber
Smell- Mellow and light, faint hint of blueberries
Taste- How it smells, especially out of a vaporizer
Appearance- Extremely frosty with orange and yellow hairs, hints of purple throughout

Growing-
Extremely resiliant/handles stress very well. Very robust in veg, very big and uniform leaves with compact node structure. Clones easily. In flower she tends to get too big for her britches and fall over, but if kept short enough she would be fine. Takes a long time to flower out. Tends to hermi really light late in flower if stressed, very few male flowers but still it's not a good thing. They are so few and hidden that it would be impossible to catch them all, the only way to get rid of them is to perfect the environment and feeding schedule.

Final-
All in all I'm very pleased with this strain. I love the way it grows and how beautiful of a plant she is the whole way through. When it cures the flavor really comes out of it, very distinctive mellow flavor. You can tell it's something special when you taste it. It's extremely strong and the best part about it is the high. It's very relaxing and euphoric- in the morning it makes me feel like I'm floating, at night it puts me to sleep. It's very balanced and is good all-around weed I've found. Good for all times of the day. Some might not like to work on it though because of how strong it is, I like it though.


You guys gotta see the new round though... They are going nuts under the 1,200 watts!!! I am so impressed that I will never veg under floros again unless I'm pushing as many lumens as the HID's do. It's incredible, the growth is insane even with whatever caused that yellowing of the top leaves on a few Mazar.

I had to spread them all out and they filled in the gaps in days. They are going to be huge, maybe even a little too big. It'll be a lot of training to keep the Mazar from getting too tall, they would be as tall as me if left untrained and the Blueberry wouldn't be able to get light from the other 600. I want the plants to share the 1,200 watts in the middle.

The Purple Kush were moved into the 4X4 last night to open up the middle of the tent for Blueberry and Mazar to fill in. I've taken most of the CFL's down for now, I found out they were the reason the tent is 85 degrees- the second I took them out the temps went down to 80. I like side lighting a lot though for these big plants so I might put it back around week 4 but considering the size of the plants I might not even be able to fit them in there this time Especially after 4 weeks of flowering.

The Kush are still in veg mode until Wednesday but the Mazar and Blueberry are getting their first 12 hours of darkness tonight. They should be ready for harvest around December 17th at the latest 24th. Not sure how long the Kush will take, looks to mature pretty fast though. The Haze plant is seriously taking it's time. The roots keep on growing and it looks really immature but it looks to have stopped stretching out at least. I hope it looks like a single cola when it's done! I have a problem with brown algae in the waterfall system because light is leaking through the net basket. I have to cover the basket up and use some hydrogen perioxide to kill it, it attaches to the roots and makes them look brown but they are very healthy and white. I'll get rid of it soon though.

I'll take some more pictures though, you gotta see these plants vegged under high wattage!!!

I didn't weigh it all out but it was probably less than a pound total. Not a good yeild

This time we'll be working with some serious plants again though, wait until you see how much bigger and badder these new beasties are! I'll be working with the Lucas Formula the whole way through, so I shouldn't burn the crap out of them or starve them this time(at least as bad)

Not off to the best start considering the yellowing on the tops of the plants, but that could have been from a few things, namely the change from floro to HPS and I fed them too much at first. (light wasn't intense enough, I put the hoods too high at first)

But they are returning to normal and the growth rate is insane right now, I'm getting the Kush under their own 400 watt HPS tonight- I'll get some pictures of what's going on.

Need to get the HPS over them, but check out how fast they have been growing! If they would have all rooted like the big one I think they would have been a little too big! When I train them they should be a nice 2X2 square, just right for the 400 watt HPS.

The Mazar and Blueberry are going absolutely nuts with healthy roots this time. The roots are actually coiling around the inside of the bottom of the bucket now and are snow white. The growth rate on Pretty Lady and Miss Hulk is really impressive this time, I'm just amazed every time I see them! Pretty Lady is growing over 2 inches a day I swear! Miss Hulk is bushing out like a madwoman.

I got sidetracked last night and didn't get pictures of the Mazar and Blueberry before the lights went off, but last night was their first night of 12/12. The Kush are still vegging until I can get that HPS installed. I was wandering around Walmart last night looking for an extraction fan that wasn't there, totally stoned out of my mind off Blueberry and Mazar. By the time I left I wanted some freakin candy with all the halloween ads everywhere. I was pissed they didn't have it because I could have sworn I had seen it there and wandered around for 30 minutes trying to find it, looking over the same places twice. Home Depot was closed too so I have to go there today, need to stop by the hydro store too for some light hangers too. One of these days I got to get a nice pully system so it's not such a pain in the ass to move the lights up.

Anyways here is the Kush bush!!!


I'll be hard at work training and trimming tonight... At least it relaxes me on some level. Wish they were up on a table so I didn't have to break my back to do it. I'll get the room fixed up one day, just got to get my technique down and some money together. I'm taking a higher position in my company so I should be good in about a year, be able to start a new project like a house or something.

Welcome back!!! Tent's looking a little bit more full this time huh? Maybe the third time really IS the charm!







The trunks have just been amazing me lately... They are just swelling in size.





The Haze plant is doing really well, the healthiest plant a month in flower I've grown yet! It still has a case of algae but I'm going to get rid of it soon. Been working on the garden a lot lately.



The curled leaves are from when I had it surrounded by CFL's for a week or so, the heat from the bulbs caused the leaves to curl away from the light. The whole plant is even green with no burned tips yet. Considering I have burned the plants twice in a row, I'm really proud of this plant and how healthy she is.



Here's a picture of Miss Hulk, living up to her name. She's a beast!


Looks like we are back on track with the green coming back into the leaves finally. Should get a few nice-sized colas off this plant, it's got at least 3 huge branches.



Trained them down last night too, was a pain in the ass because of how packed the tent is again Can't wait until I can get around this thing and don't have to step foot inside it to train them or trim them...



Trained down Pretty Lady too- she is going to be so massive... And she started out behind the others! I love that particular plant- if only it wasn't so stretchy...



Least the canopy is even now.

Finally got the 400 up over the Kush last night, so everything is under HID now except the mother plants which are far away from the light.



Gotta train them tonight... Hopefully I can get keep them short enough not to have to trim them at all! Have the whole plant in the light zone.

Got an extraction fan from Home Depot that does the biz, just not very well. I have to open up the tent to keep the temps down, closed up it goes up to 86 degrees. Not too bad but not that good either. Keeping the tent open keeps the temps down around 80. It's taped-up because it was leaking air and not exhausting right, now it's fine.



Really looking forward to seeing this bush in 50 days!

Hey everyone, you don't have to respond I know you are watching

This picture shows three Blueberry cuttings that I accidentally did without any cloning gel because I was so stoned. I didn't use any solution either, just straight water. I was amazed to see two of them not even wilt with such large leaves left on them (Thanks Al B. Fuct!) and the third perked back up with a watering. (still just straight water)

After 36 hours they are doing great! I even tried it again to make sure I had really forgot -I was really, really stoned after all- but anyways the Mazar showed amazing results without any rooting compound whatsoever as well!

I did a lot more cuttings when I pruned the bottom of the Mazar two nights ago, and remembered the Clonex that time. But that's when I remembered I hadn't used Clonex on the Blueberry cuttings! I kinda freaked out for a second because those cuttings aren't exactly little ones and I really needed them to live. But they were doing fine and didn't wilt- I was really amazed at that point and decided to try it again on purpose. The results were 100% survival rate with the undipped cuttings wilting the least. How about that?

I think the reason is that I shave a little bit of the tough outer skin off the bottom of the cut, all the way around the cutting, then split the stem a couple times but I think it's that shaving that allows the cutting to drink easier. The rooting gel actually kept the cutting from drinking easier What am I supposed to make of this? I'm pretty surprised and wondering if maybe a clean enough environment would make rooting gels unecessary, maybe a powder would be nice though. The gel seals off the cut which is good but the cutting can't drink as easy which isn't good. Kind of a mixed bag there...

I'm still going to be doing a lot of experimenting on this to see how much rooting gels are necessary- maybe it's technique that is most important in clone survival, that shaving is crucial for it to be able to drink easier when it's first cut I think- but I'm not absolutely sure yet. I noticed my survival rate went up to 100% and stayed there when I started using a razor blade to make cuttings though and it makes sense to me that if the plant can drink through it's stem, it would be able to drink easier without the tough skin in the way. But I'll do a round of test clones off these new mother plants I'm making, I'm really interested now.

Purple Kush, my favorite smelling plant yet but we'll see how it stacks up to Mazar later when it's done. Pretty cute, huh? It's about 2" tall.



This is Blueberry, you can tell because it looks like it stuck it's finger in an electric socket with all those white hairs so late in flower, I love the plant but the taste isn't my favorite of all marijuana flavors, (great taste, just not one of my favorites if you know what I mean) the high is the best part about it.



And last but most certainly not least- Mazar! It's a mini Pretty Lady clone, looks to be getting close to done already




They have been flowering over 50 days days now, can't wait for that little Kush to be done, I'm really excited to smoke it. I'm wanting to cure it but I doubt I'll be able to wait with pot that funky dried in a jar.

Anyways thanks for stopping by- today I'm getting a much nicer fan for the 4X4 that I'll need in the future as well. That little fan just isn't going to cut it in flower, I need more air exchange than that thing is doing later on. A lot more actually, that thing is going to come in handy for the mother chamber I'm building though, I'll get some pictures soon of what I'm talking about.

I did some research a while back when I took the clones off my plant. You're not the only one who's playing with water-only cloning methods. The general concensus seems to be that they work well on most strains, and the rooting hormone only speeds things along or helps with hard to root strains.

On grower did point out, though, that a lot of the rooting agents also have anti-fungal stuff in them, and that fungus is a frequent problem for clones.

Course, this is all stuff that I've read. Not sure if there's any truth to any of it
