yeah i'l take like 6- cuttings today and toss em in rapid rooters. this time i'll label them by plant instead of by strain..

there's 6 male cuttings in that cloner due to my late ball dropping friend (who is still looking pretty healthy ina bag in another room)

I'm guilty of the whole not doing everything you can for clones thing too

I figure this way only the strong ones make it!

that's what I tell myself so I don't feel bad for not giving the poor lil cuttings all the care and attention they deserve...



"survival of the fittest" only gets me 1/3 of my cuttings

but I never really took cloning all that serious it's been more for fun... have used all kindsa mediums, containers but I dont have a method yet

all my previous grows were not worth cloning

and that right there is why im not serious about it.

I've got ok strains that are only good because the are fresh (IMO) and cured / stored right.

If i find a killer pheno though, i'll be doing evry trick in the book to keep that strain going.

dont feel like dropping money on a seed bank with out having a proven method.

soo, it sure as hell isn't a verygood success rate, but i got a few clones outta my half assed attempt.

I didnt even check to see which strains they are.

So mord whats your plan's with all the clones since you dont know whats exactly what and where the males are at in their. Have you tryed using a rooting hormone? somebody was telling me to fill a small rubbermade container with perlite bring the water level right up to the perlite and dip the cuttings in some hormone stuff and just stick in in the perlite and in 2 weeks he said he had a 90 plus percent sucess all the time, it might be worth a shto i havnt had time to try it myself yet.

yeah i've used rooting hormone before, it works great

i've also shaved the stems, that and rooting hormone works even better !

Ya know, one thing I learned the hard way on those aero-cloners is you've got to keep your nute solution warm - 75F-80F, or they don't work as well. I had two cloning attempts that failed completely with mine. Then I added a submersible fish tank heater and had almost 100% success this last time.
