BC's multi-flow PPP-satori

Bro I was worried 4 plants wouldn't be enough to utilize the 600's full potential.Now I think I have just a tad more canopy than the six will cover.We will see.I have decided not to get a larger lamp.I want to completely master the equipment I already have.Once I learn to maximize yields with this set up I really may not need anything larger.I don't sell and only share with a few family members.I am seriously considering going with individual pots next time with a perlite/vermiculite mix and stuff in as many hashberry as I can and sog them single cola style.OR go with six hashberry in the multiflow and let them veg real good first trained out to four branch's just like I did with this one,except this time let them get some size to them.what a treat of a plant to grow.cant wait to actually see and taste it.It already smells wonderful.

Ya the 600 doesn't really cover the whole area the same, that's for sure. I'm going to try a larger reflector this time though, and when I move out on my own I'll be using another one in the middle (3 600s) instead of 2 1000 watters. 3 600's would be more lumens for less power. Then in the future I want to try either 4 600's or 2 1000 watt dual spectrum Sunmaster bulbs on the sides and a 600 in the middle. I'm convinced the more light the better It would be a bitch to cool it all, but I know the results would be amazing in a SCROG setup!

I can't wait to see your plants in full flower! Are you sure that the one plant is Hashberry and not Satori? Satori is such an awesome looking plant, much like Mazar. What do they smell like?

Ya bro im positive.satori is almost pure sativa like PPP this is most defenatly a indica.I think 3 600's will kick ass in a 8x4 tent.cant wait to see it!!

Wait till you see the grow set-up I'm designing for it too! Totally hand-built and custom design I came up with myself. It's ebb&flow crossed with DWC, I'll make a post about it in my thread so I'm not stealin your spotlight on this awesome grow thread!

Im a newb so im learning.

Sounds like you are looking at trying something new too instead of what you have right now. From what i have read, sounds like DWC is the way to go. Just have to make sure your ph and nutrients are right on (like you do now anyways) and have a good air pump and defussers/stones.

Takes out the guess work of watering because the water is always there. You jsut monitor the critical stuff and keep proper level of water in the bucket. Keep the buckets seperate so you can grow different strains well. Only problem is the area you gotta work in.

Just some suggestions for your next grow seeing how ou are thinking of changing your setup. I vote bubblebuckets FTW

@ dragit yep I veged for 4 weeks.it was a mistake.it cost me two weeks and has made managing the canopy even harder.but live and learn.they are doing well and if I dont blow it over the next two months ill be golden.

Thanks!!I used the net to help me spread the canopy.the bottom growth was removed because it wont receive enough light to produce anything worth smoking.removing it allows the plant to spend all their energy on the buds.Pruning also culls the smaller branches that would otherwise shade and compete with better branches.

BC EDIT:for evryone that thinks they need a ton of boosters and aditives to make their plant healthy....I only use flora micro and bloom.nothing else will be used the entire grow.(SEE LUCAS FORMULA)

Hi they are about 7 weeks old total.4 weeks veg and nearly three weeks 12/12 the PPP are in full flower and should be done somtime the middle/end of September.the hashberry is still sorta in preflower stretch.I say sorta because this preticular pheno just don't stretch!!I have a 600 watt hps i may toss in a few hundred watts of cfls as side lighting once the buds get going and i can see where they will be best used.I should have started flowering much sooner for the PPP but the hashberry seems to like a longer veg.A huge mismatch i the same grow.both strains grow completely different

Great to hear it!! bro if I dont kill em Ill get through this grow on less then one gallon of bloom and one gallon of micro!!I have only changed my res once and have no intention of changing it for the rest of the grow.so long as ppm s and PH stay good the res is good.constant res change's came from the old days before ec and tds meters when changing the solution was the only way to be sure the mix was good.im convinced that keeping the proper room temp water temp and as much D,O. in the solution as possible makes up for a multitude of additive designed to combat problems that acure by not having the proper conditions in the first place.This is a sample of a days maintenance

• Lights come on.I Open the tent and do a close inspection under a florescent light so I can see any possible yellowing sooner.
• Once im sure all is well with the girls I move on to the res.I check the res temps first. If its over 70f I add a frozen milk jug.Next I check the ppms.this step tells me alot about whats up with my plants.If the ph and ppms stay pretty much stable even with evaporation of the water,then the plants are eating spot on.I will keep the ppms where they are and top off with enough nutes to keep the ppm's the same.If the ppms are rising and ph is falling but the plants are not showing any stress or burn then I top up with plain water and check the ph again.the water usualy raises the ph so I dont usualy need any pH up.Now If the ppms are rising and ph is falling and the plant shows stress or burn(hasent happend yet!!Knock on wood!) then I would flush the medium as well as top up with plain water.Again the water should raise the ph some so I dont adjust unless I need to. I do my best not to use any ph up or down.Often I can adjust the ph by adding more water(raises the pH) or abit more nutes on the top off(lowers the ph) now if I check the res and ph is up and ppms are down then the plants need more nutes.I will need to raise the ppms.I always watch the plants close for a FEW days after raising the pppm's the plants will show distress before burning if I havent gone over the top when I added nutes.I always adjust by 100 ppm at a time.
• Now that all is well with my res I draw some water and water the hashberrys.
• Now I breath a sigh of relief knowing all is well with the girls for yet another day!!
