Allright, here are the pics from below the canopy :

I must confess I underwatered them a bit, so I gave 'em 1 gallon of water per container.

Also, in accordance with this thread :

http://forum.grasscity.com/sick-plan...-drooping.html

I raised the lights a bit to see if it makes any difference.
Suggestions anyone?

It indeed appears to be a case of underwatering.
Some liquid in there and they perk right up.
Overwatering the last 4 grows really got to me!

UPDATE DAY 108 SINCE PLANTING SEEDS, DAY 20 OF 12/12 (HPS)

First off, let me show you a few of my girls' bodyguards :

These guys help unwanted guests stay away.

The girls themselves are doing well and getting bigger.
Nice tan, more rounded shapes and more pubes.
Great to look at but way to young to be touched by daddy.

Here, have a peek-a-boo yourself:

Have a nice grow!

The smell is starting to kick in.
Very nice smell indeed, not a harsh penetrating Indica smell at all.
Kinda fruity, flowery and gentle.

Makes me wonder what the hell carbon filters are for.
They should make deodorant or indoor air freshner with this scent.

Looking great man, I'm sure you'll get the watering down soon enough. Do you think leaving some growth underneath the screen is better than clear-cutting it? I've heard mixed opinions on it but it looks like you have one plant that has underbrush and the others are more clear-cut, so which is performing better you think?

UPDATE DAY 112 SINCE PLANTING SEEDS, DAY 24 OF 12/12 (HPS)

Hey Mr.Goodstuff, welcome to the show buddy!
Good thing you noticed the one with undergrowth.
I'm growing 5 plants in 3 containers:

2 LST-ed, with undergrowth.
2 SCROG-ed, without undergrowth.
1 SCROG-ed, without undergrowth.

This to find out if :

-SCROG yields more then LST.
-2 plants in 1 container yields more then 1 plant in 1 container.

Some say SCROG yields more because the plants on average are closer to the light.
Others say LST yields more because it is less stressful on the plants.

Some say 2 plants in one container will use energy to fight each other over food/space/water and therefore yields less then 1 plant in 1 container.
Others say 2 plants in one container will yield more then 1 plant in 1 container because of more efficient usage of space/soil/water, assuming they're not rootbound ofcourse...

They might even all yield exactly the same who knows for sure?
This is a fun part of growing for me, determining what is most efficient.
A bit like during my last grow where I determined pinching stems yields exactly the same as topping plants, while the general believe was pinching is better.

Ofcourse none of this is exact science, I'm just using the 'trial and error' method to figure out how I yield the most at the lowest cost.
(excluding hydro grows, I don't like the taste of a hydro yield)

I now also know why Cali Orange Bud is called Cali Orange Bud.
They actually do smell alot like oranges during flowering, no need for a carbon filter so far. (not that I've actually ever used one).

Also, just for the record and to serve as my personal reminder, the plants were watered and nuted again to day. About 1/2 a gallon per container.

Anyway, enough blabla for now.
Here are the pics, again with some yellowing at the bottom of the plants, but my girls are nothing to be ashamed of :

More pics in 4 days!

Awesome experiment- I'm very interested in your results! Thanks for helping clear up a bunch of speculation with some evidence and numbers!

UPDATE DAY 116 SINCE PLANTING SEEDS, DAY 28 OF 12/12 (HPS)

The plants have pretty much stopped stretching.
Right on schedule after 4 weeks of 12/12 and I still have about a foot of headroom left for the HPS.
More pistil hairs appear, some more leaves dropped at the bottom.

Interestingly, I've noticed a difference in water requirements between containers.
The single plant in 1 container consumes the most, and the 2 LST-ed plants in 1 container consume the least.
Go figure!
Since the 1 plant in 1 container has the least biomass/leaves could it simply be a product of better ventilation??
?? I don't know.

Also, the 2 LST-ed plants are pretty much rootbound, I can tell by the hardness of the top layer of soil, which is caused by lots of root growth.
This does not seem to be a 'problem' for the 2 SCROGged plants.

I allmost can't believe I still have 5 or 6 weeks of 12/12 left before harvest.
Damned Sativa slowpokes are testing my patience.
This better produce one of hell of a high, if not I probably won't grow COB anymore.

Here, see my girls grow up :

Toke a nice one!

UPDATE DAY 124 SINCE PLANTING SEEDS, DAY 36 OF 12/12 (HPS)

Thanks everyone, for your kind words and moral support.

The buds are still getting bigger so that's good, still alot skinnier then Indica grows though.
I'm cutting off small budlets at the bottom of the plant, they'll never amount to anything useful so I decided to have the plant focus on the bigger nugs on there.
All three plants are still dropping lots of leaves, it seems the plants are robbing them for anything useful.
There's still a lot of greens on there so I'm not worried, but it does show flowering is taking it's toll.

What does make me wonder a bit, is the appearant lack of 'crystal' formation.
Maybe they're still too young for mainly Sativa hybrids to display lots of ice or the 'ice-crystals' are smaller in diameter then on Indica strains.
Maybe I should stop being so damn cautious with the 15-30-15 nutes and hit'em with it......repeatedly......double or maybe triple strength.....or more.
During my second grow (in which I overnuted heavily up to 8 times recommended strength), lots of ice had formed on the leaves and pistils already, but these plants seem a bit shy.

So what do you all think is the reason of low appearant crystal formation?
Shy on nutes? Or just a Sativa trait? Bad genetics? Ice stealing mini-yeti hiding under the canopy?

Here look at the pics and you be judge :
