| Hermie Pics! Well, I've attached some pics for you all to see the sad sad news......I'm so upset...however, I just ran out of my middies that i picked up a few weeks ago yesterday...so maybe it was meant to be...because I was thinking of calling some old friends that I don't really want to be around. Strange how things happen sometimes. Anyhow...here's the pics. |

| I have one girl!
White Widow is a female. It's the slowest growing plant I've ever seen to be honest, but we'll see how it moves once it's in flower. I didn't even bother trying to clone because I could never get a branch long enough to cut...but now it's about 6" I suppose. Very Very Indica...short fat leaves...at least she's female. I'm going to crack my next white widow now since I have one in flower.

Have you heard of Dutch Master Feminizer? I hear it can stop the mostly-female plants from developing male flowers. How long has it been flowering? I hope the stuff works because I need to use it on the Blueberry, it keeps forming a few male flowers here and there about 7-8 weeks into flower. You think that stuff could help us out man?

Never heard of it man. To be honest, I have such a limited amount of space, I just chopped it. I went and pulled two Blue Mystic Clones from the Cove and tossed them in there. I'm not worried about it...I got a clone from it, so I'll try to grow it again in a few months...The herb is f'n great, even though it is 3 weeks early...so I'll need to try again to check out the full flavor. Hopefully next time it won't hermie on me. | |

Mystic your grow journal is really fun and a great learning experience. I had a few questions though if you don't mind asking. you seem to be very thourough with your write up! -Do you mind being specific on what kind of CFL's you are using? -When you treated your clones, were the stems under the water, or above the water? i couldn't tell -When you were vegging your clones, what kind of fluorescent was that you were using? -Where did you cut the plants when you took the clones? (top, middle, bottom), and HOW many inches were they?? EDIT: i am kind of confused on WHERE exactly to cut for a clone. For example, do you cut the STEM coming off the main cola? Or do you cut the stems where the nodes would be. do you get it? I appreciate it in advanced! Last edited by Mischief2JZ; 12-11-2007 at 07:28 AM. |

Hey Mystic, I must have skipped a couple of days of your journal cause I just noticed your hermie problem. I'm not seeing the Dutch Master Feminizer on their website, but another grower just tipped me off to their Reverse product, which will, supposedly, stop the hermie problem even after it started. I'm looking into finding some for my grow. I'll let you know how it turns out.
