flowering

This is my set up. 1 100 watt HPS, 1 20 watt CFL, bathroom exhaust fan, and 1 oscilating fan.
Growing medium
Miracle Grow organic soil, worm castings, and peatmoss
Ferts
Miracle Grow tomato food

Does N E 1 know if this set up will work for flowering? This is my 1st indoor set up.
I have 4 plants.

What is the NPK ratio on the MG ferts? You want a moderately high first # for vegging and a higher 2nd # for flowering. Plants are looking good man, you may need more light for flowering 4 plants especially for having vegged them for so long.

Miracle Grow is actually pretty good.I've used it on many outdoor grows before.
You just can't use miracle grow soil with nuits when they're too young.

One word of caution : feed all the electric equipment from above and not below.
Water drips downwards, that's why.

For the rest, all looks pretty to me, plants included!
And o yeah, MG food is OK, I use it too.
Just don't start seedlings in MG soil.

hey

Cool set up man, I think you should get some clip on lights with cfl's to assist the hps in flower, use them around the sides, your buds will fill in better, 4 plants with that light is going to be tough, they are about to double in size, so the extra light will be needed, Take avantage of that space and lumen the hell out of them....
My 2 cents,,,,LOl good luck man,

That would work, but sounds to me like they are missing 'the sun' while being watered/draining.
Are you sure you want to make that sacrifice?
Better get your drill!

Yeah the inside of the fridge looks reflective enough to me.
Now you're starting about a second HPS in there I wondering : where's is your air intake hole?
Are you sure you can keep it cool enough in there?
Fridges are very well insulated, I'm sure you see my point.

Please tell me you are NOT operating that fridge. DO NOT!
Forced cooling leads to condense.

Airflow is the way to go.

if u would actually look at the pics u could see that the cords are ran from the top and the intake holes are huge at the bottom and a light filtering box attached to the out side keeps it light proof if i would have had the fridge on do u actually think they would look this good and it stays 75degrees ferenheit so i dont think 1 more hps would be bad at all it would help alot during flowering and wouldnt bring the temp up that much also i got another exaust fan just in case get your facts staight dude look at the pics before u criticise
