basic weed machine

Alright, So i have a basic setup, very basic, i am using a normal lamp... as seen in this picture...

it is on its fourth day, planted germinated seed on Four Twenty...

The Light bulb specs are...
-Light output...1710 lumen's
-energy used...100 watts
-life...............750 hours.
i paid like 6 dollars for a four pack.

-I water it Actually quite often, the light is pretty warm, and bright, so it dries up the soil quickly.
-I have been using chickapoo Organic plant food their are 4-6-4, slow releasing, seems to be doing good.
Lets here what you guys have to say about it.

Streeeeeeeeeeetched... and it looks like you've got time-released fertilizer in that soil, that's a no-no, and I wouldn't touch anything in terms of your other fertilizer yet. Move that light closer, and maybe get some new soil.

What kind of bulb are you using? It cant possibly be a CFL with that low of a lumen output... I'll assume you're using some sort of incandecent "grow bulb"...

I'll leave any suggestions for a further post once we see your bulb

yeah move that regular bulb closer, may end its life a little sooner!

Dude you cannot use regular incandescent light bulbs, you ahve to use either flourescent or HID lighting, regular bulbs will only cause the plant to stretch like its already doing.

Tell them why they strech dierwolf, oh hell, I'll do it, incandescent light use the wrong light spectrum, your plant needs a light spectrum of 6500 calvin for veging(blue light) and 2700 calvin(red light) for flowering. so basicly your plant is starving for light, might as well turn the light off for all the good it does.
