Oh, thanx for the info, I'd read elsewhere that diluting urine works, but who can trust half of what's on the internet eh?

Great thread.I love growing vegies and have been doing it for years.hell its the only way to get a tomato that tastes like a tomato anymore.

WOW! i digg this. Variety is very healthy to the grower, it makes you do things that you normally woundnt try. and down the road your experience and knowledge could lead to some very fruitful buds. by the way, nice cold frame. +rep I built a frame, but it had a bottom (for potted plants being hardend) but your looks cheap and effective, mine worked but i had put money, time, and blood sweat and tears into it. how long is your growin season in canada for these vegies?

and yea.... dont trust any myths you read on the internet. ecspecially when it comes to human urine.

really no myths..... cause I read that if you actually bathe in undiluted urine then..... lol

My growing season. Last frost -- ~ may 24th
first frost -- ~ september 20th

I picked the little greenhouse up at a garage sale for a buck. it works fine... needed a little cleaning but aside from that

I'm only using it to provide a little heat to the area where I'll first plant my carrots. get a little better composting going on in there, I moisten once in a while as well.

I thought variety was the spice of life, but then again I'm not growing herbs and spices... yet.
