Hennessy's First Grow ~ 4plants 1project

Sup this is my first grow Big thx to those who have helped me this far!

God Bud from BCBud
The Purps(mendo purple) from BCBud
Northern Lights x Shiva from Nirvana
Pure Power Plant from Nirvana
Bag Seed from My area



6inch Cooltube w/ 400W Hortilex MH/HPS bulbs on Lumatek Digital Ballast - thx Rumple!
Using 6 General Hydroponics Waterfarms with a 21gal reservoir/controller
Forgot the ruler so width is apox 2.5" kinda tight but I'll be using more of my height space which is up to 9"+ if I want and Scrog.

Nutes are FloraMicro Series with Floralicous Grow for supplement.



Still working on light proofing my closet but I have time Thats all in my Closet Journal,
Gonna see how much I can get off 6 plants for my first grow!

Got my Digital TDS/PPM/Temp Meter ,calibrated it and tested the water.. It's some hard water which is perfectly usual for this area so I may get some Flora Micro Hardwater if thats what I need.

Reading after I put in some cold tap water..

Going to only run the duct fan when the MH/HPS lights are on so there on the same plug timer for now.

I filled the reservoir up enough to get the drip system running.. Rig'd my 400w light up. it's apox 4feet above the pebbles atm. Letting it sit so I can get a good ambient reading of the room. The digital temp i got from timex monitors hi's and low's for indoors/outdoors. I just hung the outdoor probe about 12-14inches below the light so I could get a high and low there and a high and low closer to the floor so this will help me work out any temp problems fast.

I was told Im supposed to almost top these buckets off with pebbles... should I add more??

I think temps will be between 75-85 But I'll have to wait till I check it tomorrow
I'll stick a humidifier in there to see if it lowers temps anyway ~ wanna know so when i need it.




For germination I sit the seeds in tap water over night then I'll throw them into a paper tower.



As soon as I put the God Bud in water 1 fell... then a few hours later 2 Pure Power Plants droped ....wondering if the some Purple and NLxS will drop for me before I move em to towels

I got lil clone dome with heat pad for cheap so I threw a damp towel in there so when I check it tomorrow I'll know how often I need to check it..




I also have some bagseeds Ilm towel germing already to see if they'll pop - if they do I'll just use them for practice as I go.

Ok so all of my seeds but one mendo purple droped .. No matter since I'm putting them in wet towels and throwing them in the humidity dome with a heating pad under them.

Not much activity from the Mendo Purple but thats ok can see something in the middle one.

Don't see anything from NLxS yet but this was the first night and wasn't even a full 24hours



I've been really abusing my Bag Seeds.. I practice everything with them before my others lol... Tip#1 make sure the drain is closed in your sink if your pouring a cup of water filled with floating seeds in it! I lost a couple to the drink lol! I did show them some love by riding around with them thou so lil good aura for em... I don't have a picture of them atm since my battery died before I could get the last shot)) we'll have to wait till I pop them in my potting soil tomorrow.

So I put them in the baker the other evening.. to prep em for moving to regular potting soil..



Checked em later that night..

By the next evening I was ready to put some in soil.. I checked to see which where rdy the evening before and had 12 seeds rdy out of like 24 .. for the rest I mixed some 5.5ph water with a couple drops of super thrive and spristed them and put them back in there towels..

3 God Bud
1 Mendo Purple IBL
5 PPP
1 NLxS
2 Cincy Bag Seed (which i'll be calling CBS from now on)

Starting getting my party cup soil pots rdy..

This was God Bud when I changed it's home



My 12 cups I watered and spristed with super thrive... labled and in on the baker.. kinda

I'm think I want some better soil.. this regular potting soil is kinda nasty...

well prepared lol looks great so far but i have a question is that digital thing that says 8.4 ph is that the ph of your water because i think u might wanna try n get that a little lower around 6.3-7 i think is the best but other then that it looks great. and what kind of lights are you using. hydro set up looks good. it looks like you are germinating all your seeds are you growing 6 and keepin the other ones in your clone chamber? i def cant wait to see how this grow is goin to come out. good luck man hope you get a lot of ladys lol

My water comes from the tap at 8.5ph and goes down to 7.9-8.0ph on it's own... and 230ppm. It's just hardwater. It'll be adjusted correctly when it comes time. I'm not germing all of my seeds,43 is to many plants. I'm going to grow these out until I can sex them and I'll take all my females out of that batch then go from there....I'll transplant my favorite ones into my Hydro system. The reason why I'm doing so many is I wont be set behind if I happen to get some males.. I want fems 2 God Bud 2 Purple 1 PPP and 1 NLxS in the system but we'll see how that goes..

ATM I'm using a 400w MH in a cooltube and I have some 27w CFL blues I'll be using also.

Right so the other day I put my babies in soil.. then I remembered I bought a brick of Coco but didn't really know wtf i was posed to do with a brick and some coconut hairs lol "just add water".. oh!

That 4x4 brick gave me the perfect amount of coco medium woot.

I transplanted everything into coco!

God bud after transplant a couple days ago.




What I'm using for now Gonna get some more 27w bulbs
*lights sit a couple inches above them when I'm not all in there face with the camera

Ok this is now day 10 since dropping them in water.

Not sure if I'm on track or not. I had a very small coco problem - I didn't clean it before use(didn't know to) so some of them where showing that they didn't like that. I flushed the coco out and the next day they showed that they liked that flush.




I wanna start to introduce a low ppm mix of Flora Nova Grow... I was wondering if you guys think thats ok... about a 300ppm mix. Im going to get some distill water and mix it in with that. I know the bottle tells me how much I should use.. but what do you guys recommend? I was first going to see how my CBS project plants liked it then start feeding all of them it.

Almost 4:20 and I'm up :P I better run to the store and get a rello!

Ok after some early problems with my hydrosystem I decided to make the move to coco pretty good move.. everything is progressing again.

(1)400w MH (4)125w 6500ks

24 un sexed plants and 2 on the side that aren't really ready for all that light.. think I killed one lol its just bag seed I got bored and germed so I could test some things just trying to see what to not do again ....

Using a mix of Canna Coco A&B,Liquid Karma,Diamond Nectar,Hygrozyme,SM-90 at 300ppm.. they like it /shrug gotta listen to the kids.. I had a mix up on a few things.. mainly watering heh even with trying to not overwater .. I overwatered a tad bit :P and a light height problem.. burnt a couple with my T5s being to close...

They're doing great now.. Less is more They like these Botanicare Cocogro blocks alot to.


Height avg is 2inches + so i'm getting ready to switch them to 18/6 and adding some red spectrum... to let them get ready for flowering.. going to switch when they are alittle over 6-8inches tall. Can do 12inches if 10-12plants will fit the Area.. any advice on this??

You have soil experience.. you should try coco I wasn't ready for hydro and I don't think I'll switch back to it unless I'm at a permanent location.. if at all.
