StonedSkunk's 1st Grow, Indoor

Hey all, thought I'd make a grow journal for my first try!

I only have 1 plant/sprout at the moment as i only had my stepdad's old bagseeds to work with, and some were many years old. A few of the seeds had little roots pop out, but this baby was the only one to make it. I sure hope it's a girl!

She (i'll just say she, easier to say ) is about 2 weeks old and I have had her under CFLs for 24 hours a day. She is in some cheap Organic soil i got from the hardware store. I just transplanted her today into a 5 gallon pot with some rocks from my stream on the bottom to help with water drainage , and also got some Fox Farm "Grow Big" to start giving her.

The only problems I have had so far are a few of the bottom leaves have curled upwards/sideways and have turned a dark purple on the edges. At first i thought it was heat stress, but I moved the lights back and set up a fan, but it hasn't seemed to help. I am thinking it is Magnesium deficiency, so hopefully the Fox Farm should help. I cut off the lowest set of shade leaves because they looked very yellow and on their way to being dead.

If anyone reads this any help is appreciated! Sorry the pics are a bit blurry, my digital cam sucks

*Update*

I started giving my plant only store bought spring water for a few days. I think this really helped, we have a well here and the PH was probably way off. I am still foiliar feeding with the Foxfarm.

I also have some Mylar up in my growcloset, and a fan that is on all the time aimed at her and the lights, which is helping her get a nice thick stem.

Problemo

I believe your plant has a magnesium deficiency problem. I believe that epsom salt can fix that but you want to make sure you add it gradually. heres a really good sick plant guide.

definetly use that guide. I'm bookmarking this thread.

Dont Add Magnesium yet cause it looks like you fixed the problem if it continues to not grow and keeps yellowing I would go for it.

Lightbulb *Update*

Ok she is still doing good! Seems to be growing quickly and the fan really does seem to be helping the stems stay thick. I'm not sure but she looks short and compact like an Indica.

The only problem seems to be the yellow tips. I switched back to fox farm but at a very low dose, prolly 1/4 or less. I also switched out the soft white CFL's i was using with some more daylight ones. Thanks for any help!
