well ive heard of a lot of people adding molassas (sp?) near the end of harvest to really sweeten up the buds and help them swell.

my plant is no where near harvest yet, but it is starting to flower so im sure it doesnt hurt. Also i dont use much, like maybe 1/4 cup of brown sugar for a gallon of water.

molasses/other sugars are simply carbohydrates for the plant to use to beef up the buds. heres an article i found about it. suprised to find out lots of bloom ferts and stuff like 'carbo load' is nothing but molasses with a high price sticker.

"The edges all around the leaves or half of the leaves can be brownish and work its way inwards a bit causing the part of the leaves to curl up in the air a bit. Fan leaves will show dark greenish/purplish and yellowish tones along with a dullish blue color to them." This quote is located in the complete guide to sick plants by MyNameStitch, under the phosphorus section. Sounds like you are describing what he is talking about, and I see you still have the issue.

Well done mate - good to see how this grow has turned out, especially after reading the dumb-ass comment someone made at the beginning of this journal taking the piss out of your plant - you've had the last laugh, way to go!!!

hey guys, thanks for the tips/encouragement! I think my nute problems are pretty much under control, been using a mix of Super Thrive and Fox Farm. Ive just been using Grow Big still even during flowering, but Im moving in like 5 days and am gonna have to have some other noobies take care of her lol.

Also the pistils on some of the buds are already getting amber (its visible in pics) is this normal? Or might it be from too much heat? Also some leaves towards the bottom shrivel up and fall off. Is this alright? Is it just the plant getting rid of stuff that doesnt get much light?

Thanks!
