How about this one http://www.shamanshop.net/store/prod...045.0/file.htm
or this one

or

It is not iron deficient. Could be nitrogen. I would just leave it for now so you can get the bugs and pH in order.

@SmknVTEC, thanks buddy but it seems I won't be buying one of those anytime soon.

These things are mighty cool and handy, but they would double the cost of my grow and I'll be low on money for a while to come.

DAY 067 (day 35 of 12/12 under HPS)

Vertical growth has practically halted and today's keyword is YELLOW!
They're 87,94 and 96 cms tall now.
When I look at my yellowing plants I think yellow.
When my growbox is closed and I'm not looking at my plants I'm still thinking yellow!
All the big fan leaves are yellowing fast and the plant has a general yellowy yellow look over it.
Is it just me or are these yellow plants in need of some serious anti-yellowing nutes?
It's been over a week since I flushed and they had some problems then but at least they were green (=not yellow) for the most part.
I'm just itching to hit 'em with nutes tomorrow, before I turn yellow myself.
I think they need to go at least another 4 weeks, not a single sign of amber pistil hairs.
Freaking yellow...... :

I want this yellow gone :

hey, i have no idea if this is the case or not, but i read somewhere on this site that because the plants need so much energy/nutrients to create buds (especially big ones) that some times the buds will suck the life out of the leaves for extra energy. i can't remember what was done to fix this problem but mabey that will help.

OK man well then your $5.00 pH tester will have to do for now. If your pH is back where it should be then your only problem is lack of nitrogen. To slow the yellowing down, give them a half strength dose of your high in N fertilizer.

wiggely, the rumors you heard on the yellowing is true. However, if yellowing starts too early into flowering it is no good. "Too early" depends on the strain ie. indica or sativa and everything in between.

DAY 070 (day 38 of 12/12 under HPS)

More of the same really.
The big fan leaves all die off, the buds are getting serious.
As longs as the small leaves that stick out of the buds are still mostly green, I'm happy.
The first amber pistil hairs have appeared, so I've passed another milestone.
Patience, Ohh, Patience, where are you?

DAY 073 (day 41 of 12/12 under HPS)

Yep and fortunately they still seem to be swelling:

The keen observer will have noticed a removed a few of the lower buds for a sample smoke.
They're not ready says my smoking experience.
So does my calendar......

DAY 076 (day 44 of 12/12 under HPS)

Thanks, AugustWest and skunkmad I appreciate your support.
Every grow I try to outperform my previous grows.
I'm quite happy with these plants, but I don't think they'll yield as much as the second harvest of my second grow did.
110 grams is tough to beat....for me......

The pistil hairs are about 5-10% amber already.
Supposedly these plants flower 8 weeks normally.
That's 56 days.
Counting today, day 44 of 12/12 as flowering day 30 (first two weeks no buds) I still should have 26 days to go.
Somehow I think this is not going to take another 26 days.
Opinions here anyone?

Here are the pics:

i'm in the same boat as you man.. mine are at week 5 and one of them seems to be finishing off so early.. i was just thinking that there's no way it's gonna go for another 3-5 weeks. The others are still producing tons of white hairs, but this one is mostly red and very few new white hairs. Just let the plant dictate what to do, that's my plan

I think this grow is better than the others simply because it's taken so much less time and it doesn't look like you LSTd the living Hell out of them so of course the yield should be less. I think that since you're using an HPS for flowering this time that your buds should be much denser so don't count yourself short yet. Those are some sweet buds man sorry to hear she's already amber. That doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

@youngandstupid : it's 5-10% amber so I've got a little while left. I'm hoping it will progress slowly.

@AugustWest : I'll check the trichs shortly. Too bad I can't post any pics of that..My camera does not like anything closer then 20 cms, and with magnification the pictures will never be sharp.

Thanks for coming by my thread both.

DAY 079 (day 47 of 12/12 under HPS)

Biggest change I noticed since 3 days ago is that the buds are gaining mass.
They are not so much visually growing a lot but they're getting heavy.
The plant that I topped, the skinny thing, is bending over badly.
I really need to make some support for her tomorrow or it's gonna keel over within a week.
Pistil hairs are about 10-15% amber already.
That's an extra 5% in three days.
Could it actually mean that to get another 30% amber hairs, I need an extra 6 x 3 = 18 days?
Oh, well we'll see and in the meantime I test sample side buds happily!
Check out the pics :
