yeh thanks, i did think of that but the guy who helped me get it goin (who used to grow onthe bigtime) said it shud be fine, bit late now i think, dont wana go dividin them up and accidentally severing root lines. thats good about the runoff, wasnt sure if that was a big problem, theyr lookin healthier now so i reckon il leave em to get used to their new positions for a coupla days then start em on low nutes.

ok just a quick update hopefully with pics if my camera co-operates. Mindy is doing great, getting noticeably bigger in the last coupla days, the other 2, mork and cali are looking pretty damn scraggly! bushing out a bit but mork (the one in the middle on the left of mindy) has alot of yellow and scraggly leaves that dont look healthy. ideas anyone? i was planning on waiting til sunday to start nutes but i might give them a tiny dose starting from tomorrow to help em along, good idea/bad idea? also there are a couple of weird yellow spots on mindy that i cant identify, and my camera STILL wont let me upload pics to my pc so thats still not an option, will try and put pics up asap!

Have you still got them in one huge pot, so to speak. If so, could the one in the middle be catching most of the water. Is it even ground???

hey, yeh theyr all still in one big pot, i dont see how the middle one could be catching all the water, i always spread it around equally when i water. did some pruning today, hope it will perk my plants up! im gona try and take some more pics at lights on, just hope my camera/comp cooperates!

ok FINALLY iv got pics! and a heap of questions

im on day 11 now, been havin a few probs so if anyone can think of anything it'l be much apprecciated!

Problems:

Yellowing Leaves on Mindy (biggest plant)

wilting on all three plants

stunted growth in Mork and Cali, they just dont seem to want to grow!

Questions:

How do you flush a grow - does that just mean pour loads of water in the pot?

Are my lights close enough, iv raised the pot up so its a bit closer, can i get away with having it closer?

Should i trim my yellow leaves?

How much water should i give per watering, i normally just keep going til the top layers nice n wet.

I tried to FIM Mindy, i think iv done it TOTALLY wrong, (last picture) i just took off the bits circled, think i might need to take off a bit more than i did.

anyway thats it, really hope someone can help with a few of these questions, cheers guys!

Mindy - the biggest of the lot, looks good apart from her yellow leaves, as i said i tried to FIM this one, think i did it wrong though, i read the tutorial, but still not 100% sure about the process, if iv done it wrong and its not too late to try again id like to top her, could do with some advice on this too:

The prob with your set-up is three plants with diff requirements in 1 pot, I'd opt for killing off the 2 smallest ones personally, its just to hard to fix 3 different problems in 1 container. But its really up to you.

hmm, thats not what i wanted to hear....lol, do you think its gona be possible to fix the problems WITHOUT killing off two of my plants?? i spose i could do that, or just give them away, but i wouldnt even be able to move the biggest one into a more favourable position....do you think the problems are so different they cant be treated in the same tub?

What soil are you using.???

I've just changed from Mirracle grow to John innes no 2 with a mix with Vacumilite and Perelite. Nutes - epson salts (less added thans says on packed just to get them used to it.

Gave each little twig 13 litre round pots with over water trays.


What a huge difference. Looking really good.

Like you I have no idea how much to water. At the moment 1 litre between 2 pots.
Mind you I changed from envoilite 125 to 400 hps, so the soil dries out that bit quicker, but the plants are growing quicker, this could be due to the change of soil tho.

Have you got a temp gauge??

Hi AA ....How deep is the soil? Since they are still small, I would separate them and put them in individual containers. Then, you could address each problem separately. How long do you plan on vegging them?

whatsup man, the soil is about 10 inches deep id say, so pretty deep, would it be possible to repot them? wont i risk ripping out roots? and im also using john innes no 2, wish i had a HPS, sure itd make things move faster! quick question, can i use a normal red lightbulb during flowering to improve the spectrum, will it make any difference?

ok got an update, day 15 (i think...something like that anyway) been feeding em nutes every other watering, two are looking healthy 1 is not, mindy is the biggest, got a little browning/yellowin on the end of a coupla the big fan leaves though, i transplanted mork into an ice cream tub and then back into the grow box,wanted to separate its roots cos i think they werent developed enough, the fan victim amazingly has recovered and is bushing up alot, when should i put them into flower? theyr all different sizes and im not sure wether to kill of the middle one and leave the space for mindy and the fan victim? anyway pics below:

Exhaust: looks messy, but will have the fan on the inside pushing the air out, the suction should be enough to make the air flow around



Intake:



Fan: 3 pc fans attached to each other, theyr all wired together, just havin trouble powering them, tried wiring a 12v plug in, no luck, says 230V 50/60 HZ 0.5/0.4 amperes on the fan, duno what iv done wrong!

Hi Al,

You can't run a 230V AC fan of a 12V DC adapter.
They really require 230V AC, like your refridgerator.
And that's assuming you've got 230V AC powersockets in your house.
Go check a lightbulb and see what it says.

Andduhhh....don't go messing around with 230V AC when drunk Al.
Seriously! Try it in the morning?

thanks for the advice urg8estfear, haha and i wasnt drunk, wish i was, no money though so no chance of that! are you sure the fans are AC? i thought they were DC but upon checking just now theres nothing that says that on there, im now in day 6 of flower, been lst'ing as i go so the plants are all pretty low profile, check the pics:

comments apprecciated as always, iv just been watering with regular tapwater thats been sat out overnight to evaporate chlorine, when is a good time to switch to bloom nutes? and should my fan be off when the plants are on dark?

Nice Grow AA... One thing ive noticed is these plants are hardy, they always seem to bounce back with a bit of TLC. My room was 33c one day, they leaf curled, cooler next day and they were fine.

With the Ventilation on at Dark Period, I run my fans 24/7, the more CO2 the better, air changover is a big part, but, it is always hot here so I am unsure for colder climates, I guess the trick is to keep it at a stable temp lights on & off.

One thing I dont do, is mess with my setup when Drunk... Do your nutes etc sober
