@Brokencage- we got a bit of hash, not like a huge amount off of those dishes but we used a bunch of popcorn bullshit for most of it. The best type comes from the sugar trim and buds, the lower stuff didn't taste very good. I don't think we dried it out enough either or something... It sizzled LOL not good. Gotta get some bubble bags soon! We still have about a pound of hash material, about half of it is bullshit... Hopefully we can get something off of it that doesn't sizzle.

@WestLAtoker- The Mazar directly under the 600 came down at 70 days, 10 weeks of flowering- and the trichomes were mostly cloudy with a bunch of amber. Some of the hairs were still turning on a couple colas but the trichomes were done and we harvested them. They were maturing very slowly, I think because they were hungry and the burn plus the root system had root rot... Next time will be a better estimate on how long they take to flower at peak for sure. Won't have any of those problems this time I hope.

@FaQ- that is a very difficult question, not an unfair one

I'm too new to estimate very well. I'm sure it will be a lot!

The plants were totally harvested yesterday and the whole tent was overhauled. We got a new hood with a new 600 watt eye hortilux super HPS and Galaxy digital ballast, and the most essential improvement to the grow yet- a 6in carbon filter for our exhaust. It's absolutely enormous and incredibly heavy, but it hung just fine.

The new reflector we got is just what I was looking for though!

It's a CoolSun 8in XL, it's like 2 feet by 2 feet and it's just awesome! We put a reducer on it because we are using 6in ducting right now. In the future I will be cutting 8in holes in my tent to vent 3 of these hoods with 600's. The 6in fan is doing a great job at reducing the hot spot underneath the reflectors that helped scorch our canopy instead of just venting the tent like before.

It all was an insane amount of work that took about 12 hours with smoke and food breaks. It was a pain in the ass arranging the Mazar because I couldn't choose a mother yet. They are all different size and had to be trained and one of them overbent in the process... If it wasn't for the harvest and having our own weed now I think I would have gone crazy!

I am also attempting to re-veg a Mazar plant, named Shug. (Sugar) it was the frostiest of the Mazar and yeilded very well. Right now it is my prized Mazar clone with the most growth. (it is very compact too, great for an indoor plant) I really like this other one that's tallest with huge leaves but it doesn't really do as well as the others because it stretches so much compared to them (it was the one that over-bent too) It would be a great outdoor plant I think, but I'm not growig outdoors... I'm not sure what to do. It's one of my favorite plants because it looks great and grows fast plus has these huge leaves.

The Purple Kush clones are just starting to liven up and return to green again, I'll be putting them in a new system soon. Going to flower 2 and keep one as a mother.

I'll start a new thread with the pictures of the new air cooled and carbon-filtered tent with bigger reflector and new 600 watt with digital ballast tomorrow, and put pictures of the harvest up here too. Check back soon, thanks for all the support guys!

Um....Bro...I dont know how to tell you this but here go's.the better hash always sizzles because its melting.thats why its called full melt hash.Though once its fired up it should burn well enough.I have used the iso method a few times and its always produced good results.bubble bags should be even better.but i keep spending all my extra money on grow improvements,so i cant afford the bags.!!I like rolling it into a long string and rolling into a doob.

Nah this wasn't just bubbling like good hash does... This was... Sizzling, like with sparks and shit.

It tasted horrible too. I think it wasn't dry enough or something like that.

Here's the pictures of the harvest though!

Here's the area I cleaned out to put the clones into the flowering tent- I wanted to put the other tent back on 24/0 for the Kush clones. There was an accident when I stepped on one of the caps I put on and water came out without me noticing it for a minute or so. A few gallons of water on the floor, and I had just put in the clones too... So annoying

It has been a lot of work lately growing, that's for sure!

Here you can see all the plants harvested and only a small part of the bottom of Shug left for re-veg; and also the clones inside the flowering chamber for the first time.

First pull, roughly 5-6 oz dry Blueberry plant yeilded about 3 oz in premium buds but was scorched all over. Lost a lot of hash material because of it

and I'm sure it stunted the yeild too. (that and other things)

It was sad to see them go... Such beatiful plants! I love the way they smell!

Final Pull, should be a lot more than before- all chunky buds that were under the 600

Thanks man! I'm really looking forward to simplifying the nutrient program- especially after seeing first-hand results using less nutrients. I am starting to wonder if the nutrients will cause the extra growth they claim... I have to see first hand though so I know for sure. The good thing about this system I designed is you can have each plant on a different nutrient program until I found the right one.

I'm interested in Pure Blend Pro, the Lucas Formula, and seeing if I can get the results they claim using additives compared to other plants that don't use them.

I know that a bunch of stuff isn't necesarry but I really think that Fulvic acid is something special. That and some sort of B-vitamin too- I know my plants respond to B-52 that's for damn sure, especially when rooting. I remember when the first round were still seedlings that hadn't even rooted, this one Mazar looked sickly and when I watered it with just B-52 it took off like nothing I've ever seen before. Maybe it was a coincidence- but it sure looked like the B-vitamin kick-started it.

I'll ask him about it though and see what he says- I remember him using some additives but I'm not sure which ones... But I always hear great things about Fulvic acid in growing magazines, that is something I have to ask him about.

Im sure your right and there are additives that my indeed be a help.My problem with many of them re that they appear to be misleading.I also believe they tell users to use levels that are not necessary inorder to sell more.Take benificials for instance.these are alive and reproduce.If conditions are good one shouldent need to add them very often because they are breading and reproducing.but the instructions have you adding them every week.

I have been to the advanced nutrients forum and have seen great results from users using their products,They obviosly work for many.But if I can get the same results from a basic two part formula that costs about 40$ a grow then Ill take option B.I also stick to the basic lucas formula because the less I add to the res the less likely it will get out of balance, and I am trying to make the entire grow without changing the res
