Today the plants are really starting to kick off flowering. They are still stretching, but I'm sure they won't get too tall. I'd love to see a 6 foot tall pure Indica but I doubt it The Blueberry might get up there because of the little Sativa in it, but it appears to be just bushing out instead of growing taller like the Mazar. It's actually quite perfect because the Mazar were stunted by the huge Blueberry late in veg, and now many of them are taller than it.

I'm convinced that these plants crave large amounts of light, because the second they got more light they went absolutely nuts compared to the way they were growing. The stems beefed up like crazy, they stopped producing winkled leaves with brown spots and pumped out more leaves in a week than I've seen in 2 weeks before. They also immediately started eating and drinking more. This wasn't from switching them to flower either, they did it under 18/6 and only went even more nuts when we went 12/12. From what I've seen the more light the better, and I finally understand why someone would think of putting two thousand watters in one of these tents... Hell I might put two thousand watt Solarmax One dual spectrum bulbs in there with a 600 watt super HPS in the middle during the last week or two of flowering one day. Start out with 1,600 with dual 600s and a 400 MH in the middle for some blue LOL That much HID lighting in a 4X8 tent would be some funk Throw in a few reptisun UV bulbs, I'm just convinced the plants would just take it and pump out more weed than with less light. Does anybody know something to the contrary? I don't want to go overboard and waste light though

We are in the process of cleaning out the underbrush that is dying, and taking off leaves that are shading the middle section. We need to change the reservoir soon and add the Big Bud These babies are going to look like mature plants soon!

damn your plants are really taking off. what's their average height? they look pretty big. mine have been suffering since day 1 of flower lol. yellowing leaves/brown spots...all that shit. oh well...you have the same inline fan as me..i think..is it a 6" ecoplus?
everything looks "optimum".....you're in for a super-sized harvest.

Thanks! I haven't really measured them in inches... LOL The only thing I've measured in inches is how far the light is away.

Your right- it's a 6in EcoPlus... Noisy fucker isn't it? I'm wondering if a Vortex would have been worth the $50 extra

The tallest is about up to my nose at this point. (I'm 5' 9'') They were up to my waist when we put them in, so they have grown over a foot in a week and a half. The average plant is right at my shoulder. I should measure them in inches LOL

I wish we could get to the back of the tent easier... It's going to be difficult to keep a close eye on all parts of them. Definitely something to consider when I rent another house- get a room big enough to fit this tent and be able to walk completely around it.

Don't worry about the yellowing leaves towards the bottom- the plant is sucking the nutrients it put into the leaf back out and putting it to good use. Just cut them off if it really bothers you- but it will not affect the quality of the buds at all. It's just the plant re-directing it's resources to the top where the light is.

Outdoors sunlight hits all parts of the plant because of the sun moving across the sky, the plant is just trying to adapt to it's indoor environment where the sun is only above.

you're the second person who told me that about the yellow leaves so that made my day lol. i really hope that's what's happening. your plants are huge if they're up to your nose man.

oh, and yeah the ecoplus is kinda noisy but i guess i've adapted to the noise. you have yours in a separate room, but i sleep next to that fucker every night lol. as far as the vortex goes, you'd be wasting your money for paying the extra 50 bucks (would have been 80 bucks more for me)...the guy @ the hydro store was trying to convince me to buy it so i asked him for a demonstration and both of the fans sounded exactly the same. so that makes you and me winners lol.

Your plants are fine- plants have yellow leaves on them all the time when they are perfectly healthy. It is just redirection of nutrients to where it is needed most. I know deficencies happen, but if you feed it with good nutrients at proper Ph I just don't see it as possible, especially if you use a combination of organic and mineral base nutrient.

I think my plants are reaching maximum height at 4 feet, probably put on another 6 inches or so with the colas. I measured them last night and the tallest is exactly 4 feet, about the limit Indicas can get from what I've read so far. It stopped growing like crazy and now the other tops are catching up to it, it's been amazing to watch it. It just reached 4 feet and said that's how tall I'm going to get. LOL

The Blueberry slowed it's stretch too and it's been concentrating on it's flowers and bushing out all over. I'm not sure how tall it will get or if it has decided that's the canopy like the Mazar. Can't wait to find out it's got about 15 main tops even at my shoulder and takes up a 4X3 area. It would be awesome if it got even bigger

About the fan- I actually got talked into an EcoPlus by the hydro store guy. He really does have our best interest at heart because I could have been sold on the Vortex easily. All he would have had to say was it really is better and I would have believed him He told me he's had the same EcoPlus fan for 3 straight years with no issues. I like how it has the feet on it too unlike the Vortex I saw in Maximum Yeild, so I can hang it on my rails instead of strapping it to them which I really don't trust. You could mount it anywhere with those feet though.

Thanks for the info because I was still considering it for the noise- but I guess I got the best thing for the job already. Thanks a lot!

Right now I'm working on getting a new 4X4 HydroHut for my clones that could use a new home, a 4in fan for it, and a new light; plus we still need a carbon filter because they are really starting to smell. Got our work cut out for use that's for sure.

Hey everyone! I would have had these up sooner but the stoner in me forgot to put the right information on the flash reader...

But welcome to the grow room!

They have been growing like crazy!!!

This is the clone that looked like it was dead but is now very much alive. This is when I first saw it was going to live, it's a lot bigger now.

Here's the first one that I saw rooted- this was about 5 or 6 days ago. (We really need the new veg tent to get them going, but it hasn't come in yet )

When I first saw roots I began giving them some B-52 and Humic and Fulvic acid in very low concentrations and they went nuts. They are so green and lively right now Definitely recommend using B-52 and Fulvic with the cloning solution a couple days after you see roots. Clones have really been facinating me lately, they are a lot cooler than seedlings that's for sure. When they got really thirsty the big ones wilted and one came right back but the other I'm not sure about. It looks dead but it's not laying down; it might live considering how dead this one looked.

After the major wilting caused by the underwatering (I wanted to see how long it would take for them to start to show signs of thirst) Yesterday they leaned over from thirst (not wilting yet) and then stood right up in 10 minutes after watering. It was so damn cool!

OK so we changed the reservoir last night to begin week 3 of flowering, so they have been flowering for a full 2 weeks now. Check out how much this crazy branch grew since flipping the lights!

It grew up so tall it is now leaning towards the 400 watt light because it grew up past it. It's got all these tops coming out of it and I just can't wait to see what it looks like in another couple weeks! It's as tall as me right now leaning over!

And now the moment we've all been waiting for... THE BUD SHOTS!!! Had to bust out the tri pod and take some macros for you guys. This first one is a combination of two pictures, one had the bud more in focus the other the surrounding area was more in focus. I combined them so it looks like everything is more in focus- I would need a serious camera to have that big of an area all in focus without needing to edit it. It's the only one that I did any work to.

Here's the Mazar-

And the Blueberry, the buds stack a bit more early on when compared to the Mazar

Lookin like it's going to be some dank nuggetry

Thanks for stoppin by the grow room!!!

i THINK YOUR LOOKING AT A HEFTY YIELD. I'm wondering if vegging for 3 months is gonna be worth it though, or if vegging for like 1 month and cranking out 2 harvest would've yielded more or less. JUST A THOUGHT. Because I'm at about 3 weeks veg and I'm debating over flowering now or vegging a little longer. Anyways, your grow looks very professional. Congrats on not having to pay for bud no more. Later dudes.

We didn't have the money to seperate the flowering room from the veg room until now. Wouldn't have had the 1000 watts that's for sure.

Might have been close, but I'm a n00b and this was the best we could do

Here's some new pictures from yesterday- my clones that are really ready to go into a new hydrohut. I took off the dome and now I have to water them a lot more LOL

They lean over when they are really thirsty, you can see one doing it in this picture:

They stand right back up after watering though

This is that one clone that almost died and now is definitely going to be yeilding some funky Blueberry bud one day! It totally amazed me with the way it survived.

I lost one of them though from the underwatering test- it just went the longest without water I guess, plug dried up faster than the others that time or something.

Right now they are really pumping out flowers- it's amazing to see the difference one night makes. The Blueberry is the most noticeable as it's stacking buds on top of buds. It looks really cool and I'm really excited we've come this far!

Wish we had the money for a bunch of stuff I want to improve, but for now this is us on full blast. I can't wait until harvest... We've been waiting since December...

Take care everyone, grow on!

Good job on the clones. Hypotheticaly you never have to buy seeds again Now your ready for your next grow. Just wondering-how many days have you been on 12/12. I think mine are a little bit behind yours. It's nice to see what I have to look foward to. Anyways, keep up the good work.

Hey everyone, man has this project been a lot of work lately!

One half of the flowering tent is so full that the buds all support each other, but on the side the Blueberry is on we had some gaps and some heavy branches found their way into them. One main Blueberry cola was about sideways, and the one tall Mazar was beginning to do a Michael Jackson 'Smooth Criminal' lean plus the smaller part of the plant was leaning over too because of it.

I wanted to let the buds mature a little bit more before I take more pictures, they are beginning to look like something smokable now. We also have to set up the new veg room so I'll get some pictures of that too.

Check back soon!
