First Hydro Grow...!!!

What's up everybody...i've tried to grow bud in soil in the past, but was never experienced nor well informed on how to grow it properly. After countless hours of reading different material on growin the good shit, and a few years later, I decided imma give it another shot. To start off, here's the seeds i have:

Dutch Passion Feminized Blueberry...5 seeds
Greenhouse 'Arjan's Ultra Haze #1...5 seeds
Mandala Seeds 'Hashberry.'.............10 seeds
...and "Honeymoon"(purple).............15 seeds

As far as equipment/supplies, here's what i have:

1000W SunSystem Reflector w/ Hydrolux bulb...and ballast..
Waterfarm(8-pack) Hydro system
basic homemade hydro system...(i'll take pics of it later)...
Milwaukee pH reader..
100 liters of Hydroton rocks
20 -4" rockwool cubes
30-1" rockwool cubes
Super sprouter heating seed mat
6" tall snug fit dome (for seedlings and clones)
General Hydroponics assorted nutrients

......that's about it...i will be purchasing a flourescent fixture that holds 4 bulbs for vegetation...and of course...about 3 or 4 fans to get that heat out and get the air circulating. Unfortunately, i have to wait a couple weeks to start growing because i'm in the process of moving elsewhere...but hopefully once i get started, all of you can help me out along the way.

The Bud-growing Fest Begins!

i have my closet mildly set up now. i'm kind of intimidated by hydro still so i'm going to start doing that in about another week or two. either way, i started a few seeds in soil and they will be soil-grown for the rest of their life. i have 2 honeymoon seeds that already sprouted and 1 hashberry sprout. I also have a blueberry and ultra haze in germination. hopefully those fuckers sprout. we'll see. ...i took a few pics but my gf has my usb cable so i'll post them later!!!

Get a backbone man, you got all the shit to have a great hydro grow, most first timers screw-up by not getting all the goodies need for monitoring there grow and here you go and get it and get cold feet. I got money says that once you get over the intimidation of growing hydro, The only soil growing you'll do is to keep a mother plant.

My Hydro Grow:http://forum.grasscity.com/general-i...te-weekly.html

By the way, good job on getting adequate lighting and great seeds, and I hope you got good soil.

damn you guys!

haha..alrite mord and chim...i'll probably grow some balls tomorrow and set my hydro system up. as far as rockwool goes, am i supposed to soak them in water for a certain period of time and adjust the pH to germinate seeds in them?

as far as the soil i'm using now, its a mixture of SCOTTS potting soil, peat moss, dolomite and worm castings with a slight emphasis on the peat moss and castings.

Correct, 24 hrs in rockwoool conditioner or ph problems throughout your grow. Its going to be fun, you'll see. The soil growers will have 4 or 5 sets of leaves after a month and you'll have a bush that's ready to begin flowering.

Good luck and if you need some help PM me.
