ps. im moving my stuff in to my homies washer and dryer closet. all white, lots more room, plus vents!! im stoked.
im also getting a 400 W hps for FREEEEEEE.. my friend is getting it for me this weekend. hes not using it so...

man those plats are beautiful!!!!!!!! They are about the same age as mine! You wana see em? Mine are bag seed. Remember to avoid transplant shock its best to do it early so if your moving to more room at the same time i would upgrade from those party cups One of my babies is in one TOO! and needs a new home as well! what im trying to say is reduce the stress on the plant and put it into something bigger before you have a problem! your free, right, so let the roots be free! I sound like a hippy If you wana see em ill post em up here at my grow page i need to update any way.

i was just about to post, saying that my roots on the biggest girl are starting to come out of the bottom. i read thats when its time to transplant. the problem is that i only have a limited amount of room (22''x15''x22'') and my friend just told me today that i could use his closet. its perfect tho. it was meant for a washer and dryer so it already has exhaust, water and is paintd white. the downside is that my other friend told me i could use his 400w hps but not till this weekend. he has to get it from his other house, i would get it but its a couple hours away and hes comin down here anyway.
so should i just transplant them in to a little bit bigger containers?? i dont have room for big buckets yet. not untill i take them to my friends closet.

just gave them a little water today. left the fan off for a while so they could just use up some of that light they so desperately need...
heres some more pics... i also need to know if its alrite to leave them in the red cups for another couple days or if it will hurt them (the roots just started poking out on the biggest one)
does the last pic look like the the stem is red/maroon? is that bad?

You should be fine. I've known people who've kept MUMs in the cups so you should be good.

Just don't leave them for too long. More exposed roots make it easier to shock the plant while repoting, and it can stop/slow down growth.
I wouldn't keep them in this pots for more than a week.

i should be moving them this weekend to a much larger space just a couple miles away so watch out for that. ill make sure to post some pics of the space when i get over there...
the little ones are doing very good, fan is back on em and theyre blowin ever so gently.

I had a grow similar to this... it was just for fun, nuthing serious. Me and my cuz started it a while back. We had four plants in a really big rubbermaide tub bin thing... We used alluminum foil we used some four three seeds of some pretty good dank stuff we'd been saving, one columbian gold and the other was a skunk. They were lookin so so great. No nute burn no brown spots at all... then my cuz got spooked... So I went over to his house one day for the usual smoke ses. and he had begun the break down. It really sucked, horribly. It actually made me sick to my stomach to just trash them since I had watched them growand was just getting ready to put them into flower this week... My setup was as simple as it gets, a rubbermaid bin with foil in it with two fluoros and a fan. We had just put on an expansion to it three days before so the plaints would have more room to grow upwards. oh well though... We're suppose to start a grow outdoors this spring... cant wait for that. we have one big place and I have two small places for room enough for two plants each... but I'm gonna be watchin this grow for sure to compare your growth to what I had. good luck on your grow.

ok, so its day 6 now. theyre growing as fast as they can with the little amount of light in there and i cant wait to transfer them to my homies closet!
I added some soil to the top of the cups to give a little more stability to the stems.
