400W - Master Kush & NLx - Bubble Bucket

Hey hey!

This is my 3rd grow. Past two grows did fairly well but ended in all males Here's the link to my last grow.

I'm using a 400W MH/HPS in a 15g rubbermaid bubble bucket - two 12" air stones. Temp is generally around 80 degrees with lights on. My grow space is wicked dry sadly so the humidity never gets above ~30% even with the humidifier on high.

Now on with business! This time I ordered 10 Dutch Passion Master Kush Femenized seeds. They sent 10 NLx seeds as well, so I'm currently growing 1 female master kush and 1 unknown NLx.

The Kush is roughly 12 days old & the NLx is around 9 days old. The NLx appears to be mutated which is pretty neat. Here's some progression shots from the beginning:

Awesome work sth! I am currently growing Dutch Passion's Master Kush as well (except not the femenized version). I am very curious to see how yours turn out. Mine first batch of buds were unbelievably trichrome covered and had a super skunky/musty smell almost like wet dog mixed with chronic. Some of the best bud i've ever smoked. And that was a newbie/fuck-up first batch, so I can't wait to see how my hydro kush turns out! +rep

So how about a little more detail, like pH level, tds level. The plant age is that from the time they first sprouted or what?

Oh, bonus, put an extra air pump in there, that way if 1 should quite for whatever reason, your plants won't drown/suffocate, plus your root system will get massive and your plant will be able to suck up more nutes which means your plants will get massive and produce massive buds. Of course the only data I have to back this up is my last grow and my current one, here's a link so you can judge for yourself:

Thanks for the kind words, fellas. Here's some more details:

• I try to keep the pH at a steady 5.8. It usually goes up .1-.2 points over night so I just adjust it down every morning with General Hydroponics pH Down - dry concentrate.

• At the moment they're drinking up 350PPM of nutes (General Hydroponics 3 Part solution). I'm going to bump that up in the near future - I've just been waiting for the little one to get her roots into the res.

• Master Kush - Sprouted 1/15/07 (13 days old today)
• NLx - Sprouted 1/18/07 (10 days old today)

• The light is 20" away from the top of the tallest plant.

• I've got a 16" oscillating fan running at all times (currently on medium until they get a bit stronger)

• The "grow room" is one side of my closet. The dimensions of the closet space are 2'2" wide 2'2" deep 10' tall

I'll be posting pics of their progress at least every other day so keep checking back

Not too much excitement going on but figured I'd post some pics. pH 5.8 & temp at 75 with 20% humidity.

Here's a shot of the Fun Time Brownies I made last night. I used 1/2 of some decent mids and about a gram of kiff from my kiff box. I bet you could get away with using less than a 1/2 and still have some bangin' brownies. One of these will do you in nicely for the night.

My grow has been compromised so sadly I'm shutting it down. Some pipe broke or something so my landlord needed to drill holes in my bedroom. He came in when I wasn't home and I'm pretty sure he would've noticed the closet glowing. As a precaution I'm shutting down completely. I'll more than likely start back up in a few weeks if every thing's kosher. It really sucks to waste all that work but when it comes down to it this is the best call.
