Lol, I didn't paint it dark brown, I had it covered in foil, but it was retaining too much heat, and burning the tips of my lady. My "room" will be moving after this grow so I was lazy and didn't paint it after ripping down the foil.

Good cam tip. I'll try some flash shot later.

I have the date written as 2/15, flipped 12/12. So I know the date I flipped lighting, and can judge based on that...but all I read the trichs are the way to go, for judging ripeness.

Thanks for the comments guys!

Yeah but 'ripeness' has no directly relationship with days of 12/12 or days of 'flowering'.
One is the start of 'flowering', the other the end.
Right? Or am I missing something here?

to my understanding, you don't start counting you days in flower till you see the flowers on top and branch tops. mine started flower about 11 days into 12/12. it's not that big a deal anyways, just helps you plan when you'll be ready, but since you don't know what you're growing, like me, it can only give you a rough guess. trust me no matter how much begging you do to them, they'll continue at their own pace.

btw roots looked fine on the chopped plant. roots grow out and to the bottom of pot quickly and start to circle bottom, just like you saw.

<TABLE class=tborder style="BORDER-TOP-WIDTH: 0px" cellSpacing=1 cellPadding=6 width="100%" align=center border=0><TBODY><TR title="Post 1477194" vAlign=top><TD class=alt1 align=middle width=125>smokingjoe68</TD><TD class=alt2>to my understanding, you don't start counting you days in flower till you see the flowers on top and branch tops. mine started flower about 11 days into 12/12</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

If thats the case, I should start counting, Counted about 20 bud spots yesterday, but as you say, just for a rough estimate.

This one showed sex in 4 days of 12/12, and today is 13 days of 12/12 and I have little buds all over the place. IF this is what I bough it is supose to be an early flowerer 7-8 weeks. (according to the site) I will go get that microscope from the shack when time comes so I don't mess up on chop time.

I should post the 1 new pic I took. It is of a top. I topped original stem, then topped one side of that, so i have 3 main tops, and I topped a side branch too, and it has made 2 nice little bud(lets).

1. Here is one topped top!

2. And the 3 tops. They have stretched out A LOT in the last week. I changed top bulb back to the 6500 as I read it may help with the stretching...any opinions on that???

it is normal for some plants to stretch in the last couple of weeks before flower, nothing to worry about there. it is called, "the final stretch".

I remember reading something about that final stretch somewhere on here Joe.

So should my lady stop growing vertically soon...I hope??
Been on 12/12 for...2weeks tomorow...She's gotta be about 5 feet tall including the pot now, and I bought a seed that said 60cm in height...I think thats like 2 feet, not 5 ,lol, I'm not complaining though! I'll just have to attach the light to the ceiling if she doesn't stop growing vertically very soon.

thanks for checking in again Joe...l8r

yeah, I think they give the average height for outdoor or HIDs you have to account for a little more stretching under less. they are all diff. all of mine were about the same height at the end of 18/6. one didn't stretch very much at all, maybe a foot. another one stretched like 2 feet. if you have to though you can bend her to keep her under the light. no worries

Morning GC!

Just a couple updated budlet pics.

1. Main top ( of 3)

2. Same nug, top down

These pics are from 18 days of 12/12. I modified the brackets on the main light's hood, to give me a few morre inches to verticle, but I am once again at max height. Got some twine, and I am ready to tie down the 3 tops if they get any taller. The tops are now about 5feet tall including pot.

Let me just say that vegging the plant was fun, but flowering it is sooo much cooler. I guess since MJ is a weed you will see it grow as such it's entire life. Everyday there are more hairs to see...I love it!

Daily watering????

Quick question about watering. I am currently having to water every other day, as the pot feels way light. Will I eventually have to water this daily?? I am still very apprehensive about over watering it...3 gal pots, 5 foot tall plant including pot height. I feed every other with FF Big BLoom at 1tablespoon per 3L. Started at 1 teaspoon and worked it up.

Islandmon the grow is looking very good! I love looking at these flouro grows in tight areas, it gives me something to look forward to with my grow. Wish I could help you with the watering question, but Dim sure Dier or smokingjoe can help you with that one. Anyways, i'll have my fingers crossed for a plentiful and delicious harvest for you!

very nice looking flowers mon. you can officially start counting days in flower. watering every other day sounds like a lot at this point in 3 gal. pots. put your finger about 2 inches deep into the soil to see that it's dry when you water. you want those roots growing, looking for moisture. if they're using it though, keep em happy. peace

Thanks for the comments guys.

Joe, I though every other day was a lot too, BUT the pots are very light by then, and finger 2 inches in, it feels dry as the desert.

Any other watering comment very welcomed!

Got a couple more pic.

#1 for urgr8estfear - Flasher on man. My camera doesn't like using the flash when I'm in the closet, but here ya go!
