I think, I would monitor it for another day before I did anything! If it's N def that leaf will be lost and the next ones up will start to yellow, then by all means fert. Also, magnisium which helps the chrophyll factory, could be a cause. Again, give it 1 more day.

So I did end up watering yesterday, it takes me about 2 liters per pot to get runoff.
PH was a bit low, so I waited and watered again with higher PH water, got runoff to 6.3...I'll work on getting it to 6.5.

Took a bunch of shots of the yellowing leaves, I'll post those first.

1. Lil yellow leaves
2. Lil more yellow
3. Lil more more yellow
4. Lil top down
5. Lil just a cool shot

It doesn't look to me that any other leaves are yellowing, just the bottom set.

Comments, suggestions!?!?

they look good dude, i'd leavem alone personally. I wouldn't risk overwatering to get .2 more PH. 6.3 is totally fine imo.
just keep an eye on it next watering.

I'll bet that yellowing occured right after you transplanted right? I'd keep an eye on it but I'd say its not going to go any farther, you'll probably lose that leaf but thats no biggie, but don't remove it for a while as it is still alive and it remains viable as an early indicator of a problem.

420 - Thanks bro - I though so too, but I am partial to my babies, lol!

West - I won't mess around for .2. But I will definately be an eye on the PH...I will have to PH up just a tad more for a good runoff PH.

chimera - I'll bet that yellowing occured right after you transplanted right? - Damn chimera, 100% on the button, this happened the few following days AFTER TRANSPLANT!

I'll keep the pics coming guy...thanks for all the input

Morning!

So I changed my light setup yesterday and my babies really seamed to like it.

I took out the little 42 watt CFL, and the 2 2foot floro and replaced it with a 125watt 2700k CFL.

Now I have only 2 lights in there a 150watt 6500k CFL with a big reflector hood and the 125 watt 2700 CFL, no reflector but stuck inbetween plants, and they really grew a lot overnight!

Only took 2 pics BECAUSE I dropped the new CFL and broke it and was busy sweeping up glass before work today...good thing only 1 set broke so light is still usable, and I just happened to oeder 2 just in case...in case happened damn it!

pic 1 is Lil growing strong

pic 2 is Big recovered and looking good...finally!

I know that the HPS lights are preferred for flowering, so does this mean no matter what I am going to end up with little light fluffy buds, like no chance of tight thick nuggs, since I can only use CFL's???

I was PM'ed about removing the foil from my grow area...that the foil could be the cause of the ugly tips on my babies. I have read about this, but heard opinions going both ways about foil. It probably does hold in some heat too...soo if I remove it, I will have bare dark redish/brown walls. I would prefer NOT to get mylar right now as this room is coming down after this grow, and I just don't want to spend any more $$ on it.
Opinions please???

All those lights you removed, put them back in. Its not that CFLs won't make good buds its that you need a lot of them strategically placed close to your plant to maximize its effectiveness. Also, its time to start LSTing them. Remember that if you look at the light and it doesn't hurt your unprotected eyes then you need more light cause it should hurt, just like looking at the SUN.

Thats the thing chimera, no way I can get all the lights shining on the plants right now. I have for spare lights, 2 42watt CFL's, 1 125 watt 2700 CFL, 1 2foot 2bar floro mixed 6500k, and 2700k , and 1 4 foot floro tube 6500k...I plan on using all of them when I can.

About LST...why?? I have vertical room, but not width. Won't LST make plants grow wider?? And topping...why? Will it really make a second cola?? I have been reading Dier's topping suggestions and the "shock" debate in another thread, I just don't know enough to say that would be a good idea for me to do. I would prefer tall plants as opposed to wide...in this room.

Talk to me chimera! Any suggestion about the foil..think it's burning the leave tips?

BTW, after messing around in my room, I am totally blinded for a while, and I am not purposly looking into the light, I'm shielding my eyes as much as possible. It's much better wearing shades...I'll have to use my welding helmet if I put all of my lights in there...

Ok, I see your point, then as they get taller you will need to provide them with more side lighting, plan on bulbs every 12-14 inches up the sides or get some 4 ft floro and run them on end. yes I'd definitely suggest fimming to get more colas on top, and yes you will get 2-3 sometimes more new tops and yes it stresses the a little, think of topping/fimming as a kids first hair cut at the barber, they go kiking and screaming to the chair, but it really doesn't hurt them.

Like a first hair cut hu!? LOL. ok bro, I'll do it, even though it's gonna kill me to CUT my babies heads, oops I mean hair off.

As you stated chimera, I plan on adding the lights as they get taller. In all I can push 564 watts of Floro for 2 plants. Man I just hope I get a girl!

Looks like I should just start my GC posts by saying;

Thanks for your time chimera!

Your welcome dude, its fun when ppl listen, so its no bother. I'd say if you get all that light in there your going to have a great grow, should have some great buds. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
