3oz cups are standard shot cups you can pick up at any supermarket.. its the same crap cups the dentists use to tell you "Rinse and spit" or the same disposable bathroom cups you use to poor mouth wash into.

I mean comon, im on a 36sq mile island and i got it, you all are in the big USA and Europe and cant find a 3oz cup?

its quite simple to check really.

The volume of a cylinder equals the (area of the base)*height = ¶r2h

Terra somethings wrong with your messuring devise because 7cm diameter x 7.5cm depth is no way less than 250mm (firstly you cant have 250mm of volume has to be cubic mm) its more like 288 cubic Centimeters in volume!!!

1 cubic centimeter = 1ml hense 288 cubic centimeters = 288ml or 9.738 onces (more than 3 times the allowed size)

Here you go.. nice link to calculate the volume of a cylinder (remember to 1/2 your diameter as its asking for the Radius not the Diameter)

once you get that amount, simply goto google and ask for the conversion by typing in in the search area 288 cubic centimeters in ml (or oz)

PS they dont make 3oz pots so anything looking like a pot will not qualify unless its one of those seeding trays, each hole on those are around 3oz.

LOL ok dude, guess i have to post a comparison, my camera was on fisheye, i'll do a side shot like yours. your pot is Wider diameter than the coke can and more than 1/2 its height, in addition the 3 ounce cup goes small in diameter as it goes down where yours maintains its diameter

Here let me super impose my new picture from the side over yours with both cans scaled to the same size so you can see the difference.

My new original picture resized so my coke can is same size as yours.

Another Comparison, your coke can fits in your pot, my pot fits in my coke can. Coke can is 333ml and your
pot is a little over 1/2 its size so your pot is around 166ml (2 times allowable size)

PS, I am in a dutch colony and also under the Metric system yet have 3oz cups

Here this is what you do

since you cant change the diameter, cut off the top so that it measures only 2.3cm high (23mm) then your at 88.5 ml
I'm sure the judge wount mind the .5ml extra.

now i am 100% positive you have places that sell Expresso coffee...

Those plastic cups they give it to you in is 3 ounces. cant believe stores aint selling expresso cups... I think iknow what happened, you were strolling down the ailes of the store looking at cups and you ran accross a really tiny cup and you just said, naahhhhhhhhhh thats way to small to be 3 ounces

and walked on LOL
