Yo man.

This is why I asked you the other day what type of MG they were in. You ignored or didn’t see that question so here it is again; what type of MG are they in? If it is time released, a flush will be pointless and there is nothing you can do except get them out ASAP.

Advised him in another thread to dig them out (they small so should be easy) and place in proper soil.

Yes MG Potting Soil is what I have, or Had anyway. Thats all it says on the bag other than feeds plants for up to 3 months which every MG product has that written on it.

by the looks of the roots in your other thread, i think they will make it.
just lay off the water a little, don't add any nutes and i'd use some flouro lights or CFL's untill they get established before i jump in to the HPS. If HPS is all you have just keep it nice and high like 3' or so.
i'm hardly an expert but from what ive read on this site and from limited experience it should work..

GL man!

Thanks man. I haven't watered them in the new soil yet. I have misted them but no substantial water. The soil is moist though. So should I wait?

yeah wait.. if it's moist that's good. Let those roots dig down deep.
if the surface drys and you wanna mist the surface that's cool. They'll let you know when they need watering.

Since my plants are ill, hopefully getting better, I am going to post their day-to-day progress. Here they are after a day in the new soil. I'm not going to water them for almost a week but will mist them regularly. If they get worse off I'll be pissed. I've put too much damn work into these. The good news is since they are still so small I'm going to add a couple of White Widow seeds in a few days (as long as the doc comes through)

21 days

Hey man.

I recommend not misting the soil. If the soil is always moist it can invite mold. Plus, it might make it difficult to tell when it needs to be watered. If the leaves get misted the light might possibly cause the leaves to burn. Lastly, if you accidentally mist a light bulb, it could shatter all over you and the plants. I am not a fan of misting except when there are bugs or a deficiency. Finally, I am glad you got them out of that MG. Humus is not great but, as long as it is not in fertilized soil, they will be better.

If they are getting dry deep down it is time to water them. You only need to let the soil dry to about 2 inches deep. Then it is time for watering. Give them a boat load of water. They still look fert burned.

More Soil and "Loads" of Water

I added soil, as suggested, to all of the five pots. I watered all of them in their new soil until the soil was saturated. I am getting a ph meter this week and I'm sure I'll find that my tap water has too high of a Ph. I know that everyone says don't use tap water but it seems a little pricey to get cases of bottled water when I don't even drink it myself. Is ph even a big deal when you aren't using any nutes?
