the 3 bladed leaves could be something genetic, or it could be just a result of your growing conditions. some strains when grown indoors rather than outdoors will loose all their leaves and grow just one bladed branches. its just a weird thing the plants do im pretty sure.

thanx man.. i'll keep an eye on her as she goes along.. so far no leaves are falling off or yellowing.. Just those 3 pointed leaves (mostly at the top)

man thats a long flowering puppy.remember alot of the equatorial sativas take along long time to fower out .these sativas are often very potent and used for breeding.it is entirely possible you have gotten a pheno that favors one of these distant relitives.hopfuly it will favor them in potency as well.

hope so man.. i'm really looking forward to seeing where she is in a few weeks. Like i said earlier, i have 0 experience with this strain so i really have no idea what to expect. I've been taking it easy on the nutes so far. From what i've read hazes are pretty sensitive to over nuting. Once she looks like she's 5 weeks away i'll hit her hard with the nutes before flushing.. (if she makes it that far )

Awesome! I hope you have a large reflector because the one I got turned out to not really spread the light out properly... That 1000w will really pump things up for sure though regardless.

hmm that's a good point.. My plan was to use my air cooled hood that had the 400 in it with the 1k light. I called the company and they said it will fit no problems. Now that you mention it i donno if it's gonna give me what i need for coverage..
it's in a 54x54 space, so i'm guessing it should be ok. I'm also thinking of buying a cool tube and running the 400 & the 1000 side by side if need be.
I think i can control heat without too much problems.. i just can't wait because this house is soooooo secluded it's gonna be awsome!

Wow that sativa is awesome, I have 2 sativa's going right now that my friend got from jamica when he was down there. They are only like 4 in so not sure how they will look yet. I am so ready for it to get a foot tall so i can see how it will turn out. Nice grow will keep my eye on this one and good luck on new secluded place hope that works out for you.

Arjan's Ultra Haze #1 (week 12 12/12) (week 8 flower approx)

if anyone's gonna grow this strain here's a few things i learned that may help.

1. flower it as early as possible unless you have a good sized space dedicated to it.

2. if using soil, go with at least a 10 gallon container.. 5 gallons just wont cut it.. it's gonna sit in it's final container for a good 12-20 weeks (unless you transplant mid flower, but i don't think that's a good idea)

3. go easy on the nutes.. they aren't lying when they say that hazes are nute sensitive.

anyway other than some droopy leaves towards the bottom which i removed along with some lower branches, she seems to be doing just fine.

it's hard to tell whether i'll get a shit load of smaller buds or whether the colas will "connect" and make giant buds.. i'm guessing it still has a good 6 weeks to go.
the conditions at my buddies house where she is are far from ideal.. temps are ok (around 80 day and 70 nite) but the airflow is really poor and the reflectivity is poor as well, but i was gonna chop it down so this is a better alternative.

I'm looking forward to the move so i can start up again, the new setup i'm going with should really improve things a ton.. I ended up buying a couple new strains as well.. they look pretty tasty IMO.

anyway a ton of pics in no real order... thanx for looking.

A thousand watts will cover 4 feet I think with the right reflector. Adding another 400 would be nice but I don't think you would need it. If you do go with two lights get 2 600's so the spread will be even and the entire tent will be even quality buds.

It would be a lot more efficient too, more lumens for less wattage I'm pretty sure.

The Island Sweet Skunk is something I want to grow- I saw the Marijuana Man raving about it on Pot T.V. back in the day. It was on the episode where they showed off a medium-sized SpaceCase kif grinder for the first time.

It's supposed to be an extremely unique type of pot.

yeah man i saw the sweet skunk in a magazine and figured i'd give it a go. I'm really itchin to get going..

i don't plan on buying anymore lights unless i splurge on a digital ballast when mine dies.. i have a 1k and a 400w already. I plan on using the 1k in the air cooled hood and hopefully it gives me the coverage i need.. if not those cool tubes seem pretty nice and not that expensive.
