High guys!
hey thanks a lot you two. by seeing it twice really helped. nice stickey wolf, I posted a question there for ya' as well! Also, have either of you heard of veg boom +? Does it have an aplication here as well? I know it goes in the res for hydro and all, so west may not be able to use it. Im just thinking of ways to eliminate the need for a screen, espesiacly if I use clones ALL from one plant and flower them sooner. Peace and any thoughts, TBug

Week 3:
Transplanted the 2 strong ones into 10 gal grow bags this morning. The roots were nice and big for 3 weeks imo. straight Ocean Forest Soil and a little milogranite (per dier). Topped them both a few days ago, they seem to look pretty decent so far. enjoy.

High west!
They are looking great! Great shots too, really helping me see how the plant responds to topping. Hey did some one get the munchies in the last photo? Peace, TBug

day 23 (from when the sprout came through the dirt)
not much new.. they seem to keep growing out and not up (prally a good thing) i raised the light a little so hopefully i get a little hight out of them so i can get the screen in there. my MH light blew out on me so I'm using HPS till the new one comes in (tomorrow) Same thing happened this grow as my last one. The first 2 days of switching from MH to HPS they kinda drooped a little bit. any comments/critiques are welcome.. thanks for looking.

Either you have not used the MH at all over the last year or you are using a bulb at a fraction of the original wattage. MH bulbs need to be changed every 6-12 months regardless if it burns out. That is a big disadvantage compared to HPS bulbs which can go closer to 18-24 months. After one year of continuous use the MH bulb will be shinning at only 60-70 percent of original so, you are paying for 1000 watts and only getting about 700. You may not have noticed it by eye because of course this happens over time. AugustWest, What are the temps in the grow room? I see the margins starting to fold over indicating heat stress.

Good luck. You made a wise decision on getting FoxFarm soil and nutes. I didn't even have to use the grow big on my plants. I just gave them tiger bloom once I put them into flowering. Be patient and let the plants grow. That soil is plentiful and will sustain your plant for several weeks without nutes.

I have a light meter and its at 89% from what it was... Big difference between me and other using these lights is my room is Airconditioned and cool a/c air is being blown in on one end and sucked out the other (the hood) so they are not running as hot as someone with just in out fans. but yes i know, and i consider myself very very lucky so far ![]()
