Congratz AugustWest on your girl!
She looks very nice, but she does have an awefull lot of stemhair.
Does PP always have so much bodyhair? Mine are practically without, except the flowers ofcourse.

grow_ak, you seemed to have topped it OK, you can see two very small but complete pairs of new leaves sitting on top.
One warning though, all those small colored balls you have in the soil lead me to believe its some sort of Miracle Grow soil.
Be carefull with this stuff, it's very hard to control the amount of nutes in the soil with this stuff, not really recommendable to beginners.

I have no clue about the stem "hairs" i donno if it means anything at all, hopefully it's not a bad thing lol.

i got the light nice and low (bout 18") with nice temps. I'm thinking another week (or 2) and i'll start 12/12.

and what's the deal w/ the hairy stems? Is it a bad thing?

man id wait as long as possible ,, till i went to the 12/12 schedule, you still got a lot of screen to fill, id go 12/12 when 80% of that screen was full of stalks, and id intertwine them as criss cross as i could, and compensate for the new growth, during the flowering stage.

the last 5 wks of flowerig is the only time id allow the buds a upward growth oppertunity, ive never done your grow before, but i got a subscribtion to the 4 best weed mags on the market. and do a lot of research on all weed growing topics, just my 2 cents,

your getting impatient,,,, MIGHT I SUGGEST SOME YOGA

LOL yeah i'm a really impatient person.. i'll definately wait till 80% (hopefullly in 2 weeks )

I do understand that flowering too early will pretty much defeat the purpose of a scrog. Maybe yoga is a good idea lol.

hee hee thanx for checkin in man. One of the reasons i did scrog was because i am so impatient, and it gives me an excuse to screw around w/ the plants everyday.

quick pic of the screen coverage. I think chicken was right, 1 week wont do it.
PS that seedling was from some purple bud i picked up. Found 1 seed in the 1/2 oz. Couldn't resist trying to germ it. I really donno what i'm gonna do with it when the screen fills.

Thanks for the confirmation on never in 12/12... some tend to believe a plant will never show its sex unless you put it to flower, which i know is b/s.

Hairy stems are good dont worry bout it its thriving

ok cool about the stems, i wasn't sure. And yeah 18/6 was the most light i gave it. I went from 24/0 to 20/4 to 18/6 last week.
