Second CFL + LED Bagseed Grow

I saw that in your journal I was thinking of getting the exact same one! It would be a good experiment since my next plants are clones of my first one, so I have something to compare it to. Glad you like my work

Awesome man, what was your total harvest weight? I see that the bowl is an ounce I'm just curious how much bud fit into that jar. After seeing your harvest and MisterPostman's PPP harvest my hopes of pulling an ounce have been shot in the face.

I weighed up 50g. This is with the branches, but minus all the bud I already smoked, which is enough to stuff a cigarette pack. So I'm just gonna say 50g of dry bud. So a little less than an ounce in the jar, like 20g. Compare to 17g for my last harvest.

Nice man, so you got damn close to 2 ounces. Not to knock your grow, at all as you've got more trichs on those bad boys than I have hairs on my body, but looking at your harvest and MisterPostman's I'm dumbfounded as how his only weighed 1/2 an ounce more. meh.

Hey I'm with you I don't know how my buds could be denser than his, cuz he definitely got more size wise. Altho mine did look bigger when they were wet, so his should shrivel up too. Must be nice having harvests like that, I'm thrilled just with my 50g. I'm gonna be smokin like a king, because my next harvest should be around xmas time. That's gonna be those clones I put straight into 12/12 which are not doing as well as your seed. That reminds me I should update that journal shouldn't I?

Haha most likely, yeah 50g is an awesome harvest especially since it's as good as you say, and it looks. My seed is one ugly plant, so maybe your clones are just waiting to turn ugly and then they will take off lol.

No clue. I've never done a clone before, let alone grow one 12/12 from the start. My guess is I'll get a 1/2 between the two plants. The A clones though, the sickly one and her thriving companion, will be vegged to a good hieght, maybe about 1.5 feet, before flowering. I'm gonna go update that journal like I said I would before so you can see the difference between Alice and Annabelle.

Thanks urgr8estfear, definitely couldn'ta done it without GC. I have one more question to ask of it, because my last hash attempt resulted in a nasty smelling black sticky ball. I've been reading various methods, and all say when using alcohol to leave the ground up weed in the alcohol for hours or even days. I left it for a full work day in my car, shaking every now and then when I could. I was told I shouulda just left it in there for a few minutes at a time, and just repeat it once or twice. I want to be able to smoke this batch, so gimme some input. How long do I leave the leaves soaking for?

Dunno about making hashish though, I just make tea.
Take a bunch of leaves, chop 'em up, put them in water on a fire, add some butter, boil for three hours.
Then drink the water and the stuff that floats on top.
It tastes like, well I dunno hard to describe, its very funky, bound to make you say OMG, because it tastes so strong.
I could feel the 'thea' be active inside my stomach, like its alive or something.
After drinking and it makes me have problem negotiating stairs.......its great!

hey i noticed you finished your grow with the uv-b light. How much of a difference was it on your clones? more potent? less potent? more trichs?

I think the bud growth does hit little spurts. It seems there's like a big explosion of the little white preflowers, then it slows down while they begin to just get fatter, till it explodes at the end. The last couple weeks are the worst when they just get bigger and bigger, you wanna smoke em so bad. Definitely a spike at the end. This plant seemed to be wanting to grow more buds after they had hit a good maturity, so I had to choose between more weight or a better high. They might have even grown a bit during drying in the first couple days when they were pretty alive. I don't know if that's with all plants, but if she had gone to her maximum mass, I think the smoke would be too stoney for me.

props, Im at that point now and its like I wanna cut em..but I dont wanna hurt the yeild. its good to know about the explosions of growth towards the end, I was pretty sure they were done growing but now I know I can wait a little longer to see this spike you were referring to..once again nice grow and thanks for sharing everything (except the final product) with us
